"New York City's Jennifer Vanilla, aka Jennifer Vanilla and Brian Abelson, offered a portal into a colourful world of innovative electronic sound with their 2022 debut album ‘Castle In The Sky’, traversing new wave, post-punk, art pop, and experimental R&B. Now Love Injection, the multi-faceted brainchild of Barbie Bertisch and Paul Raffaele comprising a print magazine, radio show, record label, and production duo breathe new life into one of the album’s standout tracks ‘Jennifer Pastoral’ on home turf, in the form of a 12” single alongside two ethereal mixes featuring maestros Dave Darlington on mixing duties and Francois Kevorkian as mastering engineer. Love Injection's Earthly Mix of ‘Jennifer Pastoral’ is a sublime seven-minute deep house odyssey with neon keys from ‘Conclave’ frontman and close friend Toribio and a sprinkling of organic percussion that harks back to the likes of François K and Pal Joey but with Vanilla's sensuous vocals soaring up top, alongside co-vocalist and co-writer Elsa Brown. The duo’s Celestial Mix of ‘Jennifer Pastoral’ is more of a late-night lullaby - a soothing comedown with widescreen pads and layers of percussion that bubble along on expansive synths. The original version of 'Jennifer Pastoral' is a freewheeling electronic rhythm reminiscent of Will Powers with robust drums but funky riffs, lavish pop vocals and cosmic warmth."

Berlin's Gooey share a new EP by Siggatunez as part of their Gooey Editz series. 'My Point' evinces the urgency and speediness of the modern dance shapeshifter, with the title track whirling both pianos and acid grunts around a spoken prosopopoeia of the modern dance form's ideal of immediacy, of quick-footedness: "this is my point: we are at a time that we have to make a decision." The exaltation of decision-making has been present in dance music since at least UR's 'Transition', and we hear echoes of the track here, only for the urgency to be dashed by a bonnier sense of breeziness with 'Been Lovin' You'. The B-side offers weirder treats, though neither 'Feelings' nor 'Sometimes' let up on that stated preference for immediacy, the tension on the B1 especially commanding an especially threadheld sense of anticipation.

Among the new emerging DJs, surely Innocent Soul is not new to most.
Innocent Soul began his adventure in 2016 when he moved to Barcelona. It was there that he immediately gained a certain notoriety residing in some of the coolest clubs around, putting himself in the spotlight with his unpredictable sets, a perfect and balanced blend of disco, house and 90's music, and establishing himself as a party animal with the desire to move the crowd.
This ambition led him to the point of wanting to express himself also as a producer and create his own imprint, @strictlystreetsound, on which in 2018 he released his debut EP, 'Do u wanna dance??'.
As a producer, he tends to encapsulate funk, disco and samples in an explosion of color, delivering warm, disco-flavored house bombs.

After his first release on SSS, Innocent Soul teamed up with his friend Black Loops for a trilogy of releases on Toy Tonics (2018), Rough Limited (2019) and Stolen Goods Records (2022). Additionally, they jointly released on Defected's sub-division, Classic Music Company (2019).
2019 marked his return to his own label with the 'Inside Of You' EP, a disco-tinged 3-track house EP, including a dancefloor dub version by one of house music's 'teachers', Paul Johnson.
In 2020 he released a 4-track EP on Happiness Therapy, a leading French label. The record immediately sold out and it was appreciated by many colleagues.
The following year, '4 The Dancers' was released on Discodelic Records.

Despite his acclaimed productions, it's possible that he made his greatest impact as a DJ, distinguishing himself with sets that are as elegant as they are downright party-like. This infectious fascination has led him to ride various stages with some masters, as well as many DJs worthy of the name.
Late at night and early in the morning, he has given countless unforgettable moments to countless people.
