Polish powerhouse Sept returns to Voxnox with his 'Direction' EP.

A1. Direction: He kicks off the EP with 'Direction', an eerie, hypnotic tool. He combines a driving 
groove with delicate synth work and cavernous soundscapes to create a mesmerising mood.

A2. Direction (Michal Jablonski Remix): 
Friend and frequent collaborator Michal Jablonski is up first on re
mix duties. Drawing upon the mood of the original he offers a tasteful and considered remix that further 
deepens the original's hypnosis.

He follows up the title track with 'Script', a deep excursion. Conti
nuing in a similar vein and showcasing his signature style he delivers a stomping big-room trip that is perfect for any time of the night.

Taking the reigns for the final track of the EP are Berlin tec
hno aficionados, I/Y. With a complex, icy groove the pair showcase their unique talents in creating another 
signature dance floor weapon.

H-Productions is the longstanding label from Stockholm starman Cari Lekebusch that dates it’s launch back to 1986, which is an incredible longevity in anyone’s book.

The latest two tracker is brought to you by veteran producer Mattias Fridell, a previous mix guest (DTMIXS14) of Death Techno and fellow Swede, who has released his killer tracks on the likes of Gynoid Audio, Affin, Sonntag Morgen, Labrynth to name only a few.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the second track titled “Aklamera” that is floor focused with jacking techno at its core. The punchy, raw sounds have a familiar analogue feel that instantly bring the cool factor, and where a combination of gritty stabs keep it sounding fresh throughout. A super DJ tool, it also isn’t just a one trick pony, as the production quality and use of sound design itself is creative and engaging for anyone looking for unique characteristics from a most definite master.

Berlin based SLV DE makes a welcome return to Soma with his latest release, Gestern und Heute EP. Having gradually built himself to be one of the most exciting prospects on the Soma roster, SLV DE continues to impressive with his dark yet emotive sound. This release also features a spectacular remix from rising UK Techno act Cleric.

The melancholic Artefakt opens the EP with its wonderfully crafted syncopated beats and cold, haunting synth work. Kreuzwege has SLV back on four to the floor territory and working a real dance floor burning as tweeked out leads are bolstered by typical powerful drum work from SLV. Jetzt keeps things moving at a fast pace yet brings a more emotive side. Intense percussive workouts drive the tracks with fleeting pads taking the tone of the tracks to other heights. Cleric takes on Artefakt and delivers a suitably punchy, furious rework yet still retains the essence of the original.

Another unique release has SLV DE standing out from the crowd with his distinctive sound.

With numerous releases already under his belt, Border One is no stranger to the scene. Yet as a young producer the quality and maturity of his output is like that of any experienced veteran. With a work ethic second to none, he has cemented himself as a favourite amongst some of the most prolific artists while still maintaining an identifiable modular-driven sound. 

Title track ‘Samadhi’ is classic techno at its finest. With precise 909 drum programming, looping bleep patterns and haunting pads, it recalls the best parts of 90s techno but with its own contemporary, high definition character. ‘Nirodha’ gets things grooving with a call-and-response interaction between drums and synths. This one’s highly functional and a perfect tool for getting the room moving. ‘Narakas’ follows suit with a similarly infectious groove. Ramping up the energy even further, this track balances moments of simplicity with freneticism. Closing out the package is the synth-based thumper ‘Jodoshin’. With warm bass and undulating leads, the arrangement builds with the help of galloping drums and melodic bleeps eventually tailing off as elements patiently strip back.
