In a perfect storm meeting of musical minds these two maestros have come together in the studio on a creative high after their recent, individual, critically acclaimed artist albums - &#8220;Omakase&#8221; and &#8220;Square Two&#8221;.Given that they have remixed a number of huge, high profile releases together in recent times - Funk D&#8217;Void&#8217;s classic &#8220;Diabla&#8221;; Laurent Garnier&#8217;s &#8220;Flashback&#8221; and Bushwacka&#8217;s &#8220;Westside&#8221; - it seems amazing that this is the first time that they have worked on a series of original tracks together!Has the wait been worth it? <p>Eric Sneo&#8217;s hit &#8220;Metanoia&#8221; gets updated and first up is a beefed-up version with an assortment of effects and tasty synth action injected into it. Pig &amp; Dan have taken over for the remix, and opt for a completely different approach, employing intricate percussion and crackling highs into their shuffling groove. Focusing on the main theme, the boys bring out their loopy sensibilities and let the melody shine, courtesy of their sparse arrangement and subliminal bassline.</p>

Gregor Tresher kicks off 2015 looking to break new soil with his first ever full release for John Digweed's Bedrock Records.   

Last year was as hectic as ever for the Gregor and he came into it on high from the success of his artist album Nightcolours and having closed out 2013 by releasing an astonishing Laurent Garnier remix of the title track, on his own imprint.   Time to relax a little maybe? Not a chance. January saw the remixed version of the album hit the stores and this was backed within a few weeks by 'Taurus', Gregor's enticing collaboration with Petar Dundov. The summer saw him remix the Chymera classic 'Shadowdancer' and he closed 2014 with the superb 'Midas / Disturber' double-header.   

Somewhat of a musical chameleon, Tresher is as at home creating deeper shades of house for the likes of Moon Harbour and Ovum as he is techno rhythms for Music Man, Cocoon and Drumcode.   With label boss Digweed a huge fan, Bedrock is yet another perfect fit for the German and he opens his account with the mighty, melodic and Kraken'esque 'Goliath' and the razor-sharp lightning bolt that is 'Stormblade'.

After the positive reactions on "Diablo", Oliver and I naturally decided to dive into a follow-up (with a rather appropriate title)! Not sure why we chose Spanish names but we seemed to be onto a good thing so we decided to keep nurturing those creative instincts. We had quite a few ideas going back and forth with this one, hence the two-part approach to the final version. Conceptually and with the working title, we wanted to take a lighter approach to this one, creating something less sinister than "Diablo" and I think that we succeeded nicely, helping to eventually take things into our "Elements" series. I should also mention how excited we were to have a brilliant Gaiser mix for this! - Dubfire
