Argentinian label West Rules is on a roll with their releases, having a back catalogue including artists such as Antonio De Angelis, MTD, Re:Axis, Vegim, Casual Treatment, Juan Trujillo and Arnaud Le Texier.

Joaquin Ruiz is the man behind the project and he returns with a superb new four track EP. His excellent music has landed on labels like Jeff Mills’ Axis, Ben Sims’ Symbolism, Alex Dolby’s Affekt and Joton’s Newrhythmic amongst others.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the title track “Tycho” with a floaty and melodic feel. A funked up and raw beat is met with delicate tribal notes that create a spacey sound full of jovial spirit and distinctive, ethereal atmosphere.

Today we premiere the title track from the upcoming EP ''Equinox'' by London-based Arnaud Le Texier, a veteran artist with a strong production pedigree, known for heading up the highly respected Children of Tomorrow label, as well as releasing on Ben Sims' Symbolism, Sven Väth's Cocoon, Slam's Soma, and Christian Wünsch's Tsunami Records.

"Equinox" utilises electric textures and interesting sonic design over a thunderous beat with a brooding mood and dark elements. The EP also offers the track remixed by Jay Clarke.
