Making its debut on ‘Saturday Night Live’, this song became a regular fixture on the Monster tour, being played at 94% of shows, with it only missing from 7 shows that year, and 6 of those being in the last month of the tour. Which then makes its complete absence from future tours more mysterious; presumably the band was tired of the song and did not feel the need to revisit it. As such, its last performance came on 21 November that year in Atlanta.

Fun fact: "Weird Al" Yankovic used ‘Bang And Blame’ in the polka medley "The Alternative Polka" from his 1996 album ‘Bad Hair Day’. This possibly explains its absence from post 1995 setlists as well as best of compilations!

The version featured here comes from 15 May 1995 in Mountain View, CA, which was Bill's first performance back after his illness led to their first European tour leg to be cancelled.
