Helge Tømmervåg aka Mind over MIDI is a mysterious figure coming from the deep north of Europe, Norway. Residing in Kristianssund, Tømmervåg explored electronic msuic since his techno excursions in the late nineties to then land into the ambient/dub/experimental realms. Mind over MIDI has been a trustworthy beacon in the icey seas of Nordic electronic music.

Everyone at some point in their existence experiences a critical moment in their busy life where big decisions can lead to big change, both at work and in life. A turning point that make your life never be the same again. A new you, a new us.

David is a die-hard record collector who has been playing them around the North of Spain and Europe for more than 15 years now. Since three years ago he's more focused on Escala de Grisos, his monthly radio show on a local station, where he plays and discuss about ambient, techno and anything in between as well as making some interviews.

David has recorded the following mix with that feeling of knowing that something huge is about to change in his life, just like what happened at .apart in a way. Hence the name translated into Catalan :)

A magnificent true personal musical journey where he captures with great sense and extreme delicacy a long list of antonyms such as fear-hope, uncertainty-desire…

To sum up overall, David shares the following poem:

The rocks crash, the puddles splash, the mirrow ripples, the calmness returns, so are the turning points of life that disrupt our world to only steer us onto a path more right than the one before, let the wind blow as it may, for it's only wish is to whisk you away to a destination where your heart will find a true home, a place where the doubts and confusion have no life supply, for when the turn is complete, a soul once lost, will be found, only to realize it was all part of the journey, and around the corner there is so much more to see ... We can barely contain ourselves as we finally reveal this truly very special chapter of our Podcast Series to you today, conjured up by none other than our very dear friend and the mastermind visionary behind our visual identity, Marco Maldarella 🌸

Marco is a multimedia artist and sound-maker living and working in Bologna. When we were just starting to develop Introspective Electronics, it made sense to reach out to him and see if we could together materialise the vision we had for this new platform. Little did we know that Marco’s contribution would be so symbiotic with the music and become such a fundamental part of who we are now. And we are so grateful it turned out this way 💛 

Apart from his work with visual media, Marco is a DJ and one half of the experimental electronic duo MARMO with Christian Duka. We were lucky to be able to release a powerful podcast by the pair last year which has since been remodeled into an LP soon out via the London-based Utter. Look out for this one!

This mesmerising one hour journey seems to take its roots in the haze of days long past, a fragile trembling presence slowly emerging from the soils to meet the sun and mankind. Then ~ in patient harmony its stems and branches grow through time and finally take shape as indigenous music with diverse brushstrokes of modernity weaved in. A seamless flow of emotions rushing from and through and into is the anchor of this mystery-soaked pilgrimage ✨ 🌚🌝✨
