Insanity Thrives was founded in Phoenix, AZ in 2012 after a few years of experimenting with music and learning how to really be a songwriter. The sound is described as being alternative and is heavily influenced by bands such as Tegan and Sara, Amanda Palmer, Green Day, and HIM. Jade writes and records all of her music herself in her bedroom using only Garageband, a USB mic, and a mobile-pre amp.  

Currently, Insanity Thrives is working on writing and recording music to be featured on a planned full-length album as well as teaming up with other musicians on their music projects.
