Pioneer of a hybrid genre drawing on his Latin roots (reggaeton, dembow), his North American culture (RnB, trap, chopped and screwed), and his UK bass music inspirations (garage/grime), despite a certain discretion, Royo has undeniably shaped a whole part of contemporary club music.  Royo's live sets revel in a hyperactive, dynamic approach to mixing, showcasing his evolution from influences primarily in the UK electronic scene into specificity from the Latinx diaspora,spanning reggaetón, dancehall, and uk sounds. He is keyed in to emerging sounds in the underground.

Softwarewolfe is an interdisciplinary artist, DJ, and organizer. His genre-fluid sets are rooted in the global club movement with a drive for cathartic release. Based in Tio'tia:ke, he created Dange"R"Us and co-founded Fence Hop, both projects dedicated to pushing boundaries and fostering vibrant, inclusive dance spaces. 

Having lived in Aotearoa and so-called Australia, as well as traveling extensively, Softwarewolfe remains ever-curious, absorbing local pulses and global sounds wherever he goes. Once the lead of a political punk band, he continues to channel his belief in music’s power to inspire and mobilize, cultivating dancefloors for connection and collective liberation.

As the founder of Dange"R"Us and co-creator of Fence Hop, he’s passionate about creating inclusive spaces where music and community intersect. Drawing from his punk roots, his work reflects a belief in the power of sound to connect, challenge, and inspire.

“This is my most experimental mix yet, shaped by months of gathering sounds—Palestinian prayers, calls for freedom, and conversations on decolonization, police and prison abolition across Turtle Island and beyond. The state of the world has me feeling so much: sadness, fear, rage, awe, hope… This mix is an invitation to feel it all, to dance with the discomfort. Maybe by moving through these emotions, we can find new pathways toward a more sustainable future.”
