Shift in Perspective by Engaging the Text with Eliana Swenson

Meet Sarah O’Dell ‘15, M.A. ‘17. She is just one of our incredible Honors Alumni and her work is a perfect example of the type of collaboration we greatly value. She is now pursuing both an M.D. and a Ph.D. in English at the University of California, Irvine and was nominated by the Azusa Pacific University Office of Alumni Engagement for the 2021 Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU) Young Alumni Award. This rockstar grad collaborated with Honors faculty fellow Dr. Emily Griesinger to design a medical humanities course for the English Department at APU. She has also previously worked alongside Honors faculty member Dr. Diana Glyer to conduct Inklings research. Sarah has published several articles about physician and Inkling Dr. Robert Havard and is currently working on a book focused on his life and writings. Keep up the good work, Sarah!
