The original “Sad Robot” collaboration between Nick Warren and Guy Mantzur was heaped with acclaim when it first appeared on John Digweed’s Bedrock label a year ago. This sparkling gem of a track pushed all the right buttons with a euphoric attitude that only comes from years of experience of rocking the best dancefloors around the world week in week out, and now the label is set to take the story to the next level with 3 diverse, exciting new remixes.

The enigmatic Rich Lane from Newcastle Under Lyme (who also records under aliases such as Original Disco Thing and Chug Norris) has been gaining plaudits for his musical creations that loosely fall into the realms of what are variously tagged “Slo-Mo”, “Chug”, “Nu-Disco” and even “NEW New Beat”.  By channelling the sounds and feel of classic House, Techno, New Beat etc. and mellowing the groove towards a slower mid-tempo ride, whilst adding a sprinkling Post Punk, Funk and Synth Pop, Rich Lane is a masterful producer who draws together so many disparate elements that seem to unite a particular type of music lover. Here, through his love of classic analogue sounds, he has created a truly original take on “Sad Robot”.

German duo, Christian "D-Nox" Wedekind and Frank Beckers, have become firm favourites worldwide over the past 10 years with a perfect fusion of studio expertise and an impeccable dancefloor touch Their creative chemistry has become an unfailing source of massive grooves and their exceptional remix of “Sad Robot” sees them firmly at the forefront of the current phase of musical evolution, drawing from the best elements of a variety of musical genres, to create a mesmerizing new future.

Hailing from the current hotbed of exciting musical evolution, Argentina’s Alejo Gonzalez (renowned for his show on Radio 90.3FM Delta) has joined forces with fellow DJ and producer Max Blade to create a beautifully melancholic interpretation of “Sad Robot”, a perfect, understated finale for this remix package. The undoubted talent of this young duo marks them out as being ones to watch for the future, for sure.

HAMBURG HEAVYWEIGHTS, ADANA TWINS ANNOUNCE THE LAUNCH OF THEIR NEW LABEL, TAU. WITH A FREE ORIGINAL ADANA TWINS TRACK TO CELEBRATE THE START OF A NEW ERA FOR THE PAIR. 

As longstanding purveyors of their unique brand of house and techno, prime Hamburg exports, Adana Twins announce the launch of their own label, TAU. Having risen through the ranks since the pairs inception back in 2006, Adana Twins have seen soaring success. Working up heat on the DJ circuit before hitting the big time in 2012, with hits ‘Everyday’ and ‘Strange’, they have since worked with the most notable brands, labels and bodies in the industry. Last year, the duo achieved an all-time high, signing to notorious Berlin institution-come-label, Watergate. 2018 has already proven to be a fruitful one with the release of their ‘Jupiter’ EP on Watergate. Despite this, it seems the well-known unwavering tenacity of Adana Twins is undying, establishing themselves as true connoisseurs of their craft, heading up their very own imprint, TAU.

To celebrate their new venture, Adana Twins have produced an original track to be released as a free download via the TAU Soundcloud. New track, ‘Frozen’, features Brazilian experimental-dance music duo, Digitaria. Much alike the Adana Twins, Digitaria have spent their own fair amount of time crafting their sound, playing as part of a four-piece band since 2004. They now create music without rules, pushing the boundaries of what dance music can be. This teaming up of restless musical minds, clearly manifests in the track itself. The signature elements of the Adana Twins sound are presented in powerful kicks and pulsing hi-hats. Eerie vocals serenade amid swirling melodic bells and roaring sirens, building to a spin-tingling crescendo that sees all elements break loose in a pulsating frenzy. Whilst also receiving major support from Techno Heavyweights Tale Of Us throughout the last few months. 
 
The collaboration with Digitaria on ‘Frozen’ paves the way for the overall ethos of new label, TAU; seeking to bring up-and-coming talent to the fore. Having been instrumental in securing their home city of Hamburg’s position on the electronic music landscape, Adana Twins stay very humble in their hopes for TAU; seeking to create a platform for new talent alongside other music they believe in. In true Adana Twins style, they already have two releases in the pipeline, TAU001 and TAU002.

Inaugural release, TAU001, comes from a rising German duo by the name of Innellea is set to drop 31st August. Delivering a unique style of tribal infused techno, Innellea are believed to be one of the up-and-coming talents in the scene at present. TAU002, comes from yet another exciting new talent, BOg. Hailing from Romania, currently based in Paris, BOg first broke onto the scene after being signed to John Digweed’s ‘Bedrock Records’. Over the past 12-years, he has become affiliated with the likes of Solomun and Dixon, releasing on both respective artists own imprints Diynamic and Innervisions; speaking volumes for what can be expected from BOg’s debut EP on TAU.

Widely acclaimed techno pioneer ​Nicole Moudaber ​has delivered the release of her ​'Adoption' ​EP, a two-track production on ​Nicole​'s own ​MOOD ​label which sees the dynamic producer tackle two tracks from one of the most important innovators of dance music since the 90s,​ Moby.

Offering a heavy and grinding feel on her remix of ​Moby​'s 'Mere Anarchy'​, (taken from 2018 album 'Everything was beautiful, and nothing hurt') ​Moudaber packs the mix with haunting melodies, with the subtle use of orchestral sounds adding a hypnotic feel to the release. She goes on to spin a uniquely dark and twisted rework of 'Like a Motherless child', pitching down Moby's vocals to create a deep demonic sound, with both remixes verging into a range of immersive textures.

Nicole's ​MOOD has served as a home for an array of the most ​intriguing productions of recent times since launching 5 years ago, previously hosting names such as ​Carl Craig, ​Alvaro Am, Pan-Pot, Pleasurekraft ​and ​Carl Cox​, who Nicole​ recently collaborated with for her milestone 50th release on the imprint.

When Summer in Berlin is just as great, you can't do nothing but getting amazing music out of your studio. This is what happened with Einmusik and these three shinning tracks forming the upcoming EP on Sincopat. On remix duties we have back on board another German star: Gabriel Ananda.
 
Samuel Kindermann aka Einmusik opens the pack with the beautiful and also powerful melodic composition of ‘Sponge’. Adding hypnotism to the party, this first song reaches madness in the breakdown. Things get deeper with ‘Sa Trincha’ and its delicate layers of synths.  This amazing second plate builds patiently towards an incredible journey which is twisted into the 90s flavor with the Gabriel Ananda remix. This extraordinary rework definitely takes ‘Sa Trincha’ to the next level. Last but not at least, ‘Pulsar’ offers the emotional and vibrant textures of the most elegant atmospheres, closing the musical spectrum of this rich EP.

He gives us a beautiful original track with soul and deep emotions. His very own vocals makes the track even more memorable.

British producer Kris Davis makes a dreamy eccentric remix. Adding a hypnotizing touch to the vocal. Stunning work !

Label bosses Hicky & Kalo remix the track by adding percussions and bringing a cool rhythmic. We can notice a touch of progressive within the arrangement. Definitely a groover.

Roy returns (triumphantly) to our lovely little label. And what a return it is. The reactions to both „Rumbala“ and „Megakraft“ have been immense. Just try to keep your dance floors hands down. Well, we must admit it is more a single hand in the air after the break kind of deal (think Italians at parties in Ibiza) but a hand none the less. Seriously though, these tunes are going to be heard all summer long. On the flip side of the mp3 are two more wistful house music lullaby's. Don't miss them either as the moods they conjure are magical.
