Crazy Daylight is back! And he's come equipped with some absolute heaters fresh out of his now Vancouver-based studio for his second Westwood release. All 3-tracks contain that signature sound we've come to love from the Australian producer - huge drums, twisted bass, clever vocals, and funky synths - but this EP certainly stands out as his best work yet in his forward-thinking approach to breaking the boundaries of that typical "Glitch Hop" sound. And it's really hard to pick just one winner here, "Got That Swing" is infectious, with it's funky hook and incredible sound design, a definite party starter! "Living Large" drops the tempo and ups the bass intake, and "Chase Your Box" takes the lead on this EP in true Crazy Daylight fashion with it's standout groove and massive synths!

AMB - Placebo Disco

Following on from their standout debut, Habitat, Maribou State return with a new single on Fat! Records – Got Me Down. Their sultry world is opened up further, muffled kicks building into deft housey vibes that glide around disorientating vocal hooks in a sonic universe brimming with character.

Remixes come from a crop of fine rising talent, Lancashire duo Bondax wrap the tune in their humid atmospherics, the rework from Pále offers a skewed spacious poise. Canadian HxdB brings things down a notch, ekeing languorous new qualities out of the samples. Jason Burns adds fizz and menace that shifts and swerves with tropical edge. The remix from OhMan! pulsates with classic vibes before revealing gnarly bass qualities.

With an official remix forthcoming for Two Bears (Southern Fried) in January alongside another for Wretch 32 on Ministry of Sound, 2012 is set to be a dazzling year for this immensely promising duo.
