The inaugural project, Powered by Inspected - Series 1, is a four-track endeavour encapsulating all walks of bass music. @echomap kicks things off in high gear with ‘Heat,’ a melodic bass roller highlighted by a groovy bassline and glitchy fills that is equally delicate in its songwriting as it is crisp in its sound design. After making his debut on the label earlier this year, the mysterious @Protial returns to Inspected with a quintessential contribution to Series 1 titled ‘Peeker’s Advantage,’ and everything from its rolling arps to its repeated vocal chops embody his signature sound. @TruFonix, the house-leaning alias of Torqux, follow suit with the uplifting ‘Snow,’ a danceable bop layered with cheerful tones and serene soundscapes primed for late summer nights. Last but certainly not least, Austria-based @voljum offers the most aggressive track of the project in ‘missile.’ Through distorted bass, rugged synths and a menacingly robotic nature, voljum makes his mark on Series 1 in style.
