‘Powered Series 1’ launched in September with the likes of Protlal, Voljum, Tru Fonix and Echo Map. Now meet five more Powered personnel:

Dutchman Trinist starts the engine. Following stunners on Program and VALE, ‘Transmute’ flips from a heavenly opening to skittering, skidaddling neuro energy in a matter of seconds. He’s in good company as Ankou runs point with ‘Inertia’. A walloping slab of doom-mongering halftime with more than a whiff of techno to it, you’ll be hearing a lot more from this young Polish talent on Inspected very soon.

Deeper into the EP we hit the grungy, swampy beats of Amsterdam’s Not Yes as ‘Don’t Do Math’ swaggers with Ivy Lab-level weight while newcomers badtwin wildly leaps between halftime, drum & bass and some kind of toxic gangster badland in between on ‘Airy’. Finally we head to California for a grand finale from Saka. Following his recent Bassrush odyssey comes another cosmic campaign where we’re zipped away in a whirlwind of contrasts and uncertainty on ‘Stasis’
