There is nothing left but love, all analytical thought has subsided and we are renewed again in the fires of consciousness. Awakened and aware, we are activated humans capable of guiding our species into the next realm of intellectual evolution. 

This fleeting life we live in dedication to our highest self is but a microcosmic metaphor of the Golden Age of mankind. Rising through evolution, we enter the gateway of golden thought. 

Spiritus sanctus. Paralleled to humanity's rise is the vision we hold to these feelings and connections to the infinite nature of space and time. When we awaken into feelings of infinity, through divine moments of cosmic connections to the entire veil beyond our horizons and senses, we become momentarily enlightened and feel as if there is a higher power surrounding and guiding our highest thoughts and actions. 

Yet, this highest power, infinite as envisioned, is within our own minds, bodies, and souls. Humanity, and the infinite capacities of the intuitive mind, surpasses all that is conceptualized as real, to transcend the modern limitations and arise into a golden future of high technology, art, and music. 

Science is a set of rules and theories that are only meant to be broken and redefined as we exponentially evolve through millennia. Every day we evolve, everyday we walk through the threshold of our highest self, aspiring and inspiring ourselves and those around us, manipulating and manifesting our own micro realities with our own beautiful thoughts and actions. <3

Thank you all for taking this auditory sound journey. The Spectrum Mixes were created with the intention of aiding one's course through human evolution, filling the listener with sonic vibrations associated with psychological and spiritual evolutionary pathways. I hope everyone enjoyed the experience, as this was my experience as well, lived through 7 days on playa, ups and downs, introspection and extroversion, dreams and visions carefully channeled into sound journeys. <3

With "Swimming Pool", Spoq releases a new mind bending cinematic album. This work manages to combine warm, intimate, introverted acoustic instruments and melodies, with analogue basses, glitches, fat beats and sometimes even disharmonic, aggressive sounds. This is not at home in one genre, but rather draws chill hop, trip hop and ambient vibes just to juxtapose them with cinematic IDM and sometimes even Synth Wave and Drum'n'Bass elements. Spoq's very specific sound is very present in this album. It can maybe be described as shattering a symphonic orchestra together with vinyl crates and a bunch of broken synths, only to search for the most fragile shards and most solid pieces at the same time to puzzle together something completely new.

Even though it is an instrumental album, the themes behind "Swimming Pool" have a great emotional depth. Writer and producer Wolfram Gruss describes it as a very personal meditative musical reflection on what it means to be human: "A public swimming pool is a sort of microcosm, where for a short time we become the same. We jump in the water to swim, cool off, play, exercise or recreate. It does not matter where you come from, how you have gotten there, what your story is, what you own...everyone is just keeping their heads above the water. At the same time we become vulnerable as our bodies are exposed, the flaws and scars we rather keep covered up might show, our worries, problems and pains are waiting for us as soon as we leave the water. This is exactly the ambivalence I wanted to express with the title track. It is slow, relaxing, almost corny at times, but at the same time probably the saddest and heaviest piece of music I've ever created."
Whether you follow this thought process or not, "Swimming Pool" is definitely an album for connaisseurs looking for unusual and uniquely deep electronic music.
