“Adrenochrome” is a dark satirical takedown of the surveillance state that uses childhood games as metaphors for systematic control and the destruction of innocence. Opening with the controversial adrenochrome conspiracy as misdirection, the track reveals the real horror: authorities harvesting fear itself while destroying every form of authentic play and freedom. Through absurdist dialogue exposing false-flag operations and contradictory national security theater, it catalogs how Duck Duck Goose becomes TSA security theater, Hide and Seek becomes obsolete under total surveillance, Tag becomes facial recognition tracking, and Red Light Green Light becomes algorithmic control over permission to exist. The piece moves from generational disconnect (kids vaping crack, unable to finish conversations) through satirical exchanges with paranoid authorities, ultimately landing on the devastating realization that the bullies grew up but never changed—they just got badges, databases, and the legal authority to ruin everything.
