Serious Trouble label presents a mind bending record that brings together forward thinking jams from the early 80’s into present time with reworks of Tiffy L’Amours’ „Follow Me“ and „Film Musik“ from Die Gesunden. Both received an editorial treatment by Benedikt Frey, Menqui & Philipp Otterbach. With kind allowance by the original composers this 12“ marks the editorial spirit of Serious Trouble and waves tribute to moist cellar jams.
The A-Side „Follow Me“ Rework by Frey & Menqui is a wild extension of the original which gently adds a weird drummy cowbell intro before it introduces the chanting eccentric original. That got enhanced with an extra electronic bass recording and relooped cut & phrases emphasing you to hit the bell just one more time.
On the flip side „Film Musik“ Frey & Otterbach dived into the artists main motive and layerd it with a lyra, sh101 and external drums in an 8 hour session. It respectfully keeps the spirit of the playful original. In comparison to that though they managed to built a seamless endless „escheresque" staircase to mad mountain. An Immortal Acid exploration.

Florian Bocksrucker is a sound artist, musician and sound designer. He lives and works in Vienna and is co-curator of the viennese electronic label Neubau. His works are inspired by human history's dark abysses, science, and the desire to understand and accept life and the inevitable.

Budnikaitė is a Vilnius based visual artist and the co-founder of Insurgency, a label and podcast series focusing on the depths of beat-driven underground industrial and experimental expression of sound. 

She is an honest musical enthusiast, attracted to the bizzare and unorthodox sounds, and constantly inspired by the 80s DIY underground cassette movements. Her introduction to music started at early childhood with her mother being a musicologist, this affected her deep concentration and effort into understanding the complexity of sound. 

Nowadays Budnikaite is the head of curating Insurgency and an occasional DJ looking to explore the hardly visible barriers between contemporary club music, downtempo beats and leftfield.

He lands on Dead Channel with a slow and deep mix, cultivating spectral, hypnotic soundscapes and uncompromising chugging rhythms in this psychoactive slow burner. 

Recently recorded live in São Paulo, Brazil at a Comme Des Larmes event.

Stevie Whisper aka Stefan Unkovic is a DJ/producer, promoter and visual artist from Belgrade. Raised in the vibrant hard-core scene of the early '00s, @steviewhisper came to be one of the pillars of the city's underground culture. He’s the man behind the @yesbelgrade label / club night, a long serving member of Mystic Stylez as well as being a regular in the DJ booths of Belgrade's most prominent underground clubs - 20/44 and Drugstore.
