I started this track more than a year ago after reading a poem a late friend of mine had written. He had such a profound impact on the people around him and never failed to inspire me whenever we spent time together. The track is wildly different from other stuff I've done and I'm sure Cosmo would've appreciated the heck out of it.

I hope something in this piece of art resonates with you in some way as I am sharing a part of my soul with you all.

Please close your eyes and roam free in my ideal, yet not quite perfect universe.

San Francisco is a typical harbour town.

Nestling amongst its environs are all kinds of different communities, each bringing with them their own Saturday night soundtrack. Hailing from the West Coast, PillowTalk are proud to call San Francisco home.

The three piece chop up electronic music into different shapes, manipulating classic pop, R&B, house and more into their own distinctive blend.

Sammy D, Ryan Williams and Mikey Tello recently completed work on their new album, with 'Je Ne Sais Quoi' finding the trio moving beyond their influences.

Currently on tour, PillowTalk are set to play London's 338 Studios on April 20th. A huge Easter weekend show, it's part of a wider tour (in a double decker bus, no less) which has taken the group across Europe.

To coincide with their capitol visit, PillowTalk have prepared a special mix for Clash readers. Opening with Ella Fitzgerald, it's a diverse selection which touches on French electro before settling into some chopped up dancefloor shapes.
