Yea I read It, and honestly it's so creative. That how "Revert" works fr. And surprised that sans(formerly dust) joined the royal guard.  Also the part were the lore said phantom papyrus is still existing within sans' guilt makes much sense!.

Guys, Revertdust is kinda cringe sometimes, I will not lie.

So I made it the uncringe because J_Dude had this dope sprite just sitting on his phone for an old Revertdust timeline he had planned but never made lore for. (I gave him lore.)

Lore is that after killing Papyrus in a normal Dusttale Run, Sans felt really guilty and let Undyne kill him, meaning the timeline played out relatively normal from there. What ends up happening is in the next timeline, Sans displays his abilities to the guard, and gets in immediately, due to his unique nature and magic rendering him more suitable to fight humans than other monsters, with his KR and large number of summonable projectiles. When Papyrus hears, he congratulates his brother and they make a matching scarf for Sans to wear on duty.

When the human starts slaughtering everyone, Sans gets the evacuation going, ensuring that Papyrus leaves. When the human reaches Sans' Waterfall station, he confronts them and battles them while Undyne evacuates Waterfall, and Alphys and Mettaton evacuate Hotland.

The reason the Phantom Papyrus still exists is because in Canon!Dusttale, it can't attack, and is just a hallucination formed from Sans' guilt. Even if the timeline is RESET, it's still there.
