Tolga Baklacioglu is a Turkish dj and electronic composer/performer working with modular synthesisers, guitar, and samplers, the owner of the highly respected vinyl imprint VENT, he is also an associate professor in aerospace engineering. 

“Blood Breeds Blood” is his eighth studio album and his debut on Khemia Records.  Featuring Darja Kazimira, the Latvian vocalist, improviser, composer and multi-instrumentalist, Blood Breeds Blood is an immersive experience into the dark corners of introspection, an attempt to reconstruct the suppressed impulses and ramifications of painful emotions and traumatic events and provoke these links to a turbulent reservoir of destabilising anxiety. “Working with Darja relieves profoundly violent emotions as her ritualistic approach constructs a sacred and hierophonic space. This includes the pervasive tendency toward the denial of human identity by acceding to the expectations of a dehumanizing milieu, by accepting the animal-like or machine-like identity our fictional world would impose on us”, Tolga confides. 

On the technical side, except the tracks “Altar Of Sacrifice” and “Blood Breeds Blood”, the whole album is recorded, arranged, and mixed live as one take directly from an Elektron Octratrack MKI.

3SBAT is a Ritual Of The Full Moon

Italian Dj & Music Producer, Glasgow based. Savvy user of dark drones,  broken beats, industrial perc, heavy kick drums and distorted noises.

3SBAT delivers a transcendent connection and re-connection of the body-mind experience, through Ritual Techno as sound healing practice.

Similarly to shamanic rituals, Ritual Techno generates a subterranean introspection where dark ambient drones, a Scandinavian string instrument such as Tagelharpa, hunted vocals and raw punchy industrial soundscapes are all meticulously stitched together.

3SBAT recently collaborated with Amsterdam based visual artist Malika Maria for the release on Hate Channel/Hate Lab of their first music video 'LUPERCALIA'. The track is based on an ancient roman pagan ritual that is considered to be the origin of St Valentine Day.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Tapefeed. "Systemic Toxicity" comes off the great new non-profit v/a from System Revival Recordings. The project was born in the second half of 2020 with 2 emergency charity compilations aiming to raise funds for relief efforts in Beirut after the port explosion in August.

The label continues curating such charity compilations for various causes quarterly in 2021 -  and now return on March 4th with 'Zero Hunger', raising funds for the World Food Programme. And to follow, will come another one in June. https://www.wfp.org/
