Vinyl and its sound have always been the love of the Wroclaw artist Aksamit. In her compositions, you can find hypnotic sounds of ambient, deep techno and tribal.

A Wrocław DJ, a resident at Ciało, a founder of Affekt and Velvet Vortex, is definitely rising talent in the polish techno scene. Her love of vinyl led her to the Berlin club Tresor, in which she played during the iconic Klubnacht & All You Need Is Ears.

Currently, she has performed in most Polish clubs and festivals - Wisłoujście, Revive, Instytut, LAS Festival, Kaskada Festival and Audioriver Festival. She has also performed outside of Poland - Germany, Spain, Andorra, Denmark, Ireland and the UK. She recently won the Polish Club Stage award in the Munoludy plebiscite in the Discovery of the Year 2018 category.

Bees detect nectar from flowers by floral sonication

Our conscious awareness of these vibrations is generally more limited than those of animals.

The lotus - symbolic for happiness - is born in muddy water 
The muddy water - symbolic for state of suffering - functions as the skin of the Lotus 
Harmoniousness is created by the skin of duality 
Sequences with opposite extremes - which we depend on
The skin of darkness enables us to experience brightness 
To dwell in sorrow for a long time - where everything seems aimless 
Starting the process of discovery teaches us translating hidden pathways
Which will never be unlocked unless the synergy between the two sides is understood
Too much light can burn our sight,  
Too much heat can turn us to ash,  
Too much love can suffocate us through its grip.  
We need the darkness to dream,  
the cold to keep us whole,  
and the quiet to let us breathe.

When hearing Max sets raw & classy comes to my mind. He’s with full attention to the records their blending and authentic energy. Originally from Lille, France, Max’s move to Berlin in 2017 sparked a deeper connection to music. His influences range from classic labels like Primate Recordings to more current ones like Token and Blueprint. He’s also exploring house music through his project “VICE/VERSA” with Ogazón – we got spoiled for sunset with a selection from ambient, to breaks, to dub techno and everything in between - listen yourself. 

'Spinning Grounds' is all about opening grounds - for both newcomers and experienced selectors alike - to spin music outside of club spaces to explore a wide range of genres from house, Detroit, deep house, dub house, ambient, breaks, UK garage, minimal, dub techno to ........
