Cliché’s sound and style – deep, heady and rolling – makes him a match made in sweet heaven for On the 5th Day, as immaculately demonstrated in this hour-long recording, as well as across his expanding library of productions (most recently his Provocation EP released in November on Edit Select). Justine Perry is a Berlin-based techno DJ. Attracted by the Berlin club scene, her sets are influenced by Deep, Dark and Acid Techno, bringing the public to a hypnotic experience.

Setting up in Berlin, she starting her collaboration with new artistic projects like Art Bei Ton and helped those events to feature more female artists. Established herself in Europe, she played in prestigious venues, such as Rex Club in Paris, Khidi in Tbilisi, Griessmühle or Tresor in Berlin, as well as some Festivals, like Forte Festival in Portugal and soon Intytute Festival in Poland.

Her work has allowed her to perform alongside renowned artists such as Peter Van Hoesen, Luigi Tozzi, Blazej Malinowski, Lotus Eater (Lucy & Rrose), Alan Oldham, Hemka, Raär and more.

Her mix consists mostly of tracks she has from her early days 
of collecting vinyl and DJing. The tracks are dark, dystopic, ravy, spehric and driving 
at the same time. In her sets she always pays attention to give producers who fly under the 
radar a chance to be heard and it is important to her not to play only the music of cis men or white men. With her sound it's hard to imagine the Leipzig techno scene without her and as a crew 
member of the Nebula collective, which among other things organizes regular parties at the 
Institut für Zukunft, produces its own podcast series as well as releases and many other artists, 
she is part of the feminist network Feat.Fem, which campaigns for more balance in the areas of art, culture and clubbing. Thanks for digging through your record collection for our facticity series and 
time to get lost.
