The first artists in the series is BEXA 🖤 
Bexa has taken the polish electronic music scene by storm. She earned her spot as Luzztro resident quickly and is one of the fastest developing artists right now. She played at our Instytut Rave Arena, Wisłoujście and kept up the pace during lockdown by providing us with many internet rave sessions. The nature of her sets is bold, very industrial and charismatic. She keeps the audience hooked and does not take any prisoners 🔥

W siódmym już wydaniu prezentujemy Violent 🖤 

Violent jako DJ, producent i artysta pojawił się na polskiej scenie muzyki elektronicznej w marcu 2010 roku. Łączy klimat heavy-industrializmu z nutką okultyzmu w swojej imponująco licznej twórczości. Podczas swoich setów wprowadza słuchaczy w nieopisany stan ekscytacji a zarazem niepokoju. Wraz z HATELOVE, o którym pisaliśmy w jednym z pierwszych wydań cyklu, tworzą mocny duet PARANOIA, który potrafi wystrzelić z kapci niejednego techno-maniaka. 

W Warszawie występował podczas naszych Instytut Rave Arena, lecz najczęściej można go spotykać w klubie 999, którego jest rezydentem. Tym samym nie ogranicza się do granic rodzimego kraju, gdyż w swojej karierze odwiedził już największe europejskie miasta, takie jak Paryż, Berlin, Amsterdam czy Bruksela. Jego produkcje zostały docenione przez zagraniczne wytwórnie jak Dynamic Reflection, Bipolar Disorder, Abyss i Nocturnal Frequencies. Jego marzeniem było usłyszenie swojej muzyki na wielkim ekranie i w 2020 roku tak się właśnie stało! Jego track „Lost & Found” znalazł się na ścieżce dźwiękowej do francuskiego filmu autorstwa Loic Foulon.

The seventh artists in the series is Violent 🖤

Violent came into the Polish electronic music scene in March 2010. He combines heavy-industrial techno with a dash of occultism in his impressive number of tracks. His sets put people into a state of excitement and restlessness. He collaborates with his friend HATELOVE, who was one of the first guests in this series, in hard-hitting PARANOIA duo, which can seriously knock your socks off.

In Warsaw he performed during our Instytut Rave Arena series, however he’s most frequently found in 999 club, which he’s a resident of. He does not limit himself to our country’s borders, as he already visited many big European cities like Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam or Brussels. His productions were noticed by foreign record labels like Dynamic Reflection, Bipolar Disorder, Abyss and Nocturnal Frequencies. One of his dreams was to hear his music on the big screen and in 2020 it happened! His track “Lost & Found” found its way to a French film made by Loic Foulon.

W ósmym już wydaniu prezentujemy MERVH 🖤 

Merve jest zasłużoną DJką, producentką i wyjątkową artystką. Urodziła się i została wychowana w Turcji, lecz jej kariera muzyczna rozpoczęła się w Warszawie w 2018 roku, gdy została rezydentką klubu Luzztro. Od tego momentu jej kariera poszybowała i stała się turbo-mocnym graczem na polskiej scenie. Współpracowała z wieloma zagranicznymi wytwórniami oraz występowała w licznych klubach w całej Polsce i Ukrainie, w tym na naszej Instytut Rave Arena. 

Jej styl grania i produkcji obraca się wokół mrocznego i industrialnego techno. W marcu tego roku wydała swoją pierwszą EPkę Selem z wytwórnią Behind The Stage. Zadedykowała ją swojej kochającej matce, która tragcznie odeszła w zeszłym roku. Zawiera trzy oryginalne kawałki oraz ich remiksy w wykonaniu jej przyjaciół Violent, HATELOVE i Sekulahr. Każdy track jest dokładnie dopracowany do ostatniego bitu i prezentuje ogrom jej zdolności producenckich. Mroczne i hipnotyczne brzmienia w połączeniu z uczuciem melancholii potrafią z łatwością zaczarować niejednego słuchacza.

The eighth artists in the series is MERVH 🖤

Merve is an accomplished DJ, producer and one of a kind artist. She was born and raised in Turkey, but her music career started in Warsaw in 2018 when she became a resident of Luzztro. Since then, her career skyrocketed and she became a force to be reckoned with. She cooperated with many international record labels as well as performed in clubs all over Poland and Ukraine, including our Instytut Rave Arena.
 
Her style oscilates around industrial and dark techno. In March this year she released her first EP Selem with the Behind The Stage label. She dedicated the record to her loving mother who tragically passed last year. It contains three original tracks and three remixes made by her friends Violent, HATELOVE and Sekulahr. Each track is carefully mastered to the last beat and shows the magnitude of her production skills. Dark and hypnotic beat combined with a feeling of deep melancholia will truly mesmerize anyone.

aetha, Jot, Jotka, Aneta – artystka o wielu imionach oraz jedna z najbliższych przyjaciółek Instytutu. Nasze drogi skrzyżowały się po raz pierwszy podczas Instytut Festival Music & Art w 2018 roku, gdzie wystąpiła na Rave Stage b2b z rraph. Po tym wspaniałym secie współpraca poszybowała i Aetha regularnie występuje na wydarzeniach organizowanych pod szyldem pioruna ⚡️

Pochodzi z Lublina, gdzie 9 lat temu rozpoczęła swoją drogę w świecie muzyki. Gra z ogromną pewnością siebie oraz nie boi się uderzyć w słuchaczy prawdziwie soczystym i potężnym bitem. Szybko stała się jedną z twarzy ruchu, który zawojował polską sceną rave. Obecnie jest jedną z najbardziej rozpoznawanych artystek na rodzimej scenie muzycznej. Można zobaczyć ją na imprezach techno, jak również psytrance, gdzie występuje pod pseudonimem jot. 

Gdy nie znajduje się za deck’ami, swoją pasję do kreacji spełnia realizując różne przedsięwzięcia w lokalnych społecznościach - spotkania, wystawy i wykłady muzyczne. Jej autorskie pomysły, między innymi organizacja open decks w klubie Szpitalna 1, przyczyniły się poważnie do rozwoju krakowskiej sceny muzyczne. Przed pandemią pracowała jako booking managerka w STK 47 - Warehouse, jak również jest współzałożycielką vultur, do którego należy wraz z rraph i Diabot.

The ninth artists in the series is aetha 🖤

aetha, Jot, Jotka, Aneta – artystka of many names and a close friend of Instytut. Our paths crossed for the first time when she performed b2b with rraph at Rave Stage of Instytut Festival Music & Art in 2018. After this marvelous performance our relationship skyrocketed and she performs regular during events organized by Instytut ⚡️

She was born in Lublin, where she started her path in music 9 years. She performs with enormous confidence and she is not afraid to hit the audience with a juicy, heavy beat. She quickly became one of the faces of the movement of techno on the polish rave scene. Nowadays she is one of the most recognizable artists in our homeland. You can see her performances on techno parties as well as psytrance, where she performs under the name jot. 

When she’s not behind the decks, she spreads her passion for music by organizing various events in local communities – showcases, workshops and music lectures. Kraków music scene’s rapid growth is partially dedicated to her original ideas, like organizing open decks in Szpitalna 1 club. She was a booking manager at STK 47 - Warehouse before the pandemic and she is a co-founder of vultur, which she, rraph and Diabot are a part of.

The legend of the Polish club scene Angelo Mike will play at the PANORAMA stage Instytut Festival 2023!

Angelo Mike, also known as Jarek Czechowski, is an outstanding Polish music producer and DJ who has achieved great success. He has received numerous accolades in the field of electronic music, including the title of Best Polish DJ. He consistently delivers exceptional music that creates a captivating atmosphere on the dancefloor, delighting audiences for many years. He was the first Pole to play on the main stage at Mayday in Dortmund and at the Soundtropolis festival near Berlin.

IKARVS is a duo from Warsaw creating electronic music with vocals. They mix dark disco with the energetic rhythms of the Latin and African world. @ikarvslive is the soundtrack to both a tropical fairy tale and kitsch horror.

Their live performance is both a crazy instrumental and vocal improvisation, as well as a fiery electronic set that will set every dance floor on fire. It is based on a rich percussive rhythm, deep bass, angelic vocals that turn into monstrously modulated loops and trip guitar improvisations. On stage, the duo from Warsaw transforms into surreal characters with the help of extraordinary costumes, dance and acting.
