XAN is a Moscow-based producer originally from the town of Votkinsk – the birthplace of Pyotr Tchaikovsky. XAN then moved to St. Petersburg, and eventually to Moscow where he became part of the Johns’ Kingdom community. There, he began solidify himself as an established electronic music producer and DJ. His dedication allowed him to fuse new influences with his own musical background as well as single-handedly organize a unique underground festival in hometown Votkinsk. Later he becomes a resident of the main DIY club in Moscow «Rabitza» and a frequent guest at other notable events such as ARMA17, Boiler Room or NTS.

This record is dedicated to the entire Rabitza team people — «Рабы Рабицы» (Slaves of Rabitza).

Museme returns with its fifth installment, as they continue to tap the deep pool of lesser know minimal talent, lying just below the surface of underground circles. This time stepping up to the plate is Romanian producer & Cluj native Bexu. 

Having released for the likes of Dinsubsol (RO) & Mikrokult (ESP), alongside a sterling 12” for KK - the sub-label of Berlin label Käse Kool and 2 upcoming 12" releases on Arupamusic Limited & Red District, Bexu’s name is starting to rise. 

Now for Museme he offers up 3 stirring slices of groove-laden micro house. Filled with engaging vocal lines and rich percussive textures, the young producer sets a deep and often retrospective tone across the Ep. Opening with the subtle, heart-melting melodics of Raw Cut, he takes the listener on an immersive journey through his sonic character… reeling you in ever deeper with the meditative vibrations of Fine Line and the driving, hypnotic flair of Sesam. This constitutes another perfect sonic unison for Museme, as the label unearths another diamond in the rough.
