Our debut project has arrived; a CD with contributions from L'Uzure, Production Unit Xero, Solatz, Ena, gi, Matter, Dina Rocaille, and Khimeîra. 

This curated primer presents raspy layered textures, windy tonal ephemera, and rapturous melodic outbursts to demarcate “outsider” electronic music as the label’s clear focus. Not intended as a collection of songs but as a singular listen, the CD is pockmarked by dirty sediment, subdued motifs and abstracted musical strucutres - avoiding neat or direct story-telling. Instead, nauseating polyrhythms stretch together a wide pastiche of styles; abstract ideas repeat themselves into shape; and far-reaching horizons converge into a hazy, electric cloud of energy. 

Despite broad influences and stylistic impressions, the music remains cyclic - always coming back to a shared cadence, an overlapping feeling that's urgent and tense but never overstating the obvious.

Spatiosselet est une compositrice et interprète de techno tribe ovni décalée. Collectionneuse de jouets, elle les détourne et les utilise comme de nouveaux générateurs de sons, véritables leitmotivs de ses créations. L'utilisation de jouets circuits-bendés pour ses compositions ajoute une dimension expérimentale, burlesque et cartoonesque à sa musique, empreinte de sonorités enfantines. Influencée principalement par le mouvement fluxus, la physique quantique et les jeux de plates-formes, elle affectionne tout particulièrement les sonorités comiques et cosmiques, les timbres robotiques et l'esthétique science-fictionnelle.

For the platform's first official release, V23 presents a 5-track mini V/A pressed on 12" vinyl — a deep dive into experimental, minimal interpretations of freetekno and deep techno. 

This debut compilation delivers meditative dance music with a rough edge: psychedelic dance floor killers that balances a certain level of roughness with introspective depth. Hypnotic grooves, stripped-down percussion and immersive sound design converge to form a new vision of psychedelic dance music.

Runner (@intarunner) is from Athens in Greece and has been ‘at it’ for many years. It all started in the early 90’s with electronic music in Athens. So what about this Subb716 mix? This was recorded in Dec 30th digging deep with 80% of the music coming from 2016 while the rest coming from the past to spice things up. In his own words: « Basically subbed out shit from 120-126bpm, it’s been a great year musically. »

Runner Nyx Mix

Connecting the dots is what drives Runner. Pushing, playing & promoting the low end continuum from his 90s days in the UK all the way to today’s landscape and into the future. Constantly 'going back to go forward' through his #SubbedOut & #237Sessions on @Paranoise & @stegi-radio respectively, the one-off block parties in the ancient city under his banner, the legacy with Dimensions Festival launches in Athens & reppin' the Swamp81 family in the city. 

In the last few years we find him setting up a variety of significant projects with his friends that by the end of 2017 brought us #Shuffle, the party mostly based on ‘superior blend’ DJs mainly from the UK. Josey Rebelle, Jon K, Shanti Celeste, A Made Up Sound, Peach combined with local talent have rumbled the foyer of Mikrokosmos cinema,  #Shuffle's spiritual home. Finally to be able to shake the Romantso basement with the @Swamp81 take over of Chunky, Loefah & Sumgii in 28th of Feb 2020, just-before-everything-shut-down is pure gold. 

Cue in 4 yrs and a pandemic later, it is now 2024 and radio, DJing & pushing the envelope with like minded cats in and out of the city helps to fight attention deficits and focus on the music & the people first & foremost
