Intended Immigration's "All I Do Is Dream Of You" is a neo-retro cover of the classic song from the Gene Kelly film "Singing In The Rain" (where it is sung by Debbie Reynolds) combining the rich sounds of jazz with a fat swinging house beat. 

The arrangement features lovingly recorded sultry strings, sassy brass and silky saxes to form the backdrop for an intriguing female vocal, both romantic and flirtatious. 

In certain spots, the cheeky arrangement leaves it provocatively open what it is exactly the singer does "the whole night through". A neighing trumpet winks tellingly.

Intended Immigration's "Biscuits and Cake" is a charmingly cheeky upbeat electro-swing original with a danceable house beat on the topic of the quintessential English tradition of tea time, whereas tea is declined, in this case, in favor of biscuits and cake. 

The track features a fetching female vocal harmonized by a clarinet-led saxophone section that attempts to humbly pay homage to the sophisticated singsong of cultured British speech. The arrangement is full of entertaining surprises and lush jazz melodies carried both by the vocals and the winds.

Intended Immigration is a musical project known for its ability to cross borders, decades and genres, mixing jazzy things with electro and more.

Intended Immigration's latest release is “Barbie Girl”, an upbeat jazz cover of the famous Aqua song featuring catchy scat vocal stylings, a lively rhythm section with swinging manouche guitars, and a bold brass section that splendidly supports the charming vocal with raunchy replies, playful remarks and lush background lines. The production is bursting with fun in this delightfully entertaining jazz arrangement that brings Barbie’s plastic universe into a world of real instruments and rich sounds.

The creative force behind Intended Immigration is Swiss-born musician and producer Thomas Feurer, who has proudly contributed to neo-retro remixes on albums by his all-time heroes Herb Alpert and Quincy Jones.

Thomas is also an accomplished saxophonist and has played with Joss Stone, Jessica Simpson, Willie Nelson, The Temptations and many more. Fun fact: Thomas happened to be in the band that Stevie Wonder hired for his daughter's wedding and got to play "Aren't They Lovely" [sic] with the man himself.

Thomas honed his majors and minors at the American School of Modern Music in Paris and the Berklee College of Music in Boston, studied law at the University of Zurich, Switzerland and received a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from New York University.

He currently lives in the New York metropolitan area and releases music with several projects on his own label Wooden Hat Records. 

Music by Intended Immigration has appeared on compilations in Europe and Japan, as well as in U.S. TV shows, films and advertisements.
