Der Ego-Tod wird durch eine tiefgreifende Störung im Fluss des normalen Bewusstseins ausgelöst – und zwar entweder durch Psychedelika oder durch Meditation. Die Ich-Auflösung ist die Erfahrung, sich vom Ich zu „trennen“ und die Psyche wie aus der Ferne zu betrachten; in Wirklichkeit handelt es sich bei dem beobachtenden Teil um einen anderen Teil der Psyche, der jedoch von den Zwängen und dem emotionalen Gepäck des täglichen Lebens befreit ist.
Wie die buddhistischen Lehren betonen, ist das Ich in Bindungen, Wünschen und Ängsten verstrickt, die es daran hindern, das wahre Bewusstsein seines Selbst zu erlangen. Zum Beispiel könnte ein Mann sich an der Vorstellung, er sei ein guter Partner, verschrieben haben und versuchen, dieses Selbstverständnis dadurch zu stärken, indem er andere davon zu überzeugen versucht, ihn ebenso zu sehen. Selbst wenn er seiner Partnerin gegenüber Verärgerung empfindet oder nachtragend ist, wird er lächeln und nett sein, anstatt seine dunklen Gefühle auszudrücken. Die Verstrickung dieses Mannes mit einem bestimmten Narrativ zwingt ihn dazu, Teile seines Selbst zu verbergen, die tief in seinem Schatten nicht dazu passen. Und so wächst sein Schatten und seine Psyche wird brüchiger.

For the fourth episode of our sets serie "LOST SOULS /// Way to Redemption" we introduce the second guest artist of our radio show: please welcome Alessia Cattani!
DJane Alessia Cattani, born in Italy and living in Augsburg, discovered her passion for music since she was a child.
She had her first experiences on stage as a lead singer in a jazz band and previously she demonstrated her talent in the school choir for several years.
Alessia came into contact with Techno music for the first time in 2017 and since then, her love for this genre began to become stronger day after day.
The happy community, in harmony with melodies and rhythms, was what made her feel it made the biggest impression.
And so, inspired by friends, her first DJ set went online in 2019.
But that's not enough! Through her tireless drive to improve her skills and her passionate dedication to DJing, Alessia arrived on the first stage in 2021.
You may have already felt the brutal energy of Alessia's mixes yourself while playing already in clubs like:
Club Paradox, Bellini Club, Fefe Club, Rockfabrik Augsburg, MS Connexion Complex, Kantine Augsburg, Modular Festival, Club Douala and Studio 56.
