LOST SUBJECTS #4 -  In A Swivet

This piece was written in october 2001. During the writing-process, the association  with 9/11/2001 was absolutely subconcious,  because i was struggling with  a real injury at the time. But when i came back to this piece again in February 2002, i realized, how strong 9/11 was also projected in this piece, and  i decided, to develop  a multi-medial performance together with an artist , an architect and a video-artist. The project failed by lack of money and energy, but the music still exists.

Namenloses Rauschen im schwarzen Nichts des Alls. Kein Anfang, kein Ende. Die Ewigkeit
als Folie, auf der sich der Kosmos immer wieder neu gebiert. Ein winziges, leise tönendes
Objekt leuchtet im Dunkel auf, beginnt zu wachsen und  dreht  sich in langsamen  Spiralen
kontinuierlich auf uns zu. Nach und nach entpuppt sich der zunehmend voller  klingende
Körper als organische Urform eines undefinierten Lebewesens, das uns  immer näher kommt.
Unweigerlich steuert unser Blick auf das Zentrum seines Körpers und durchdringt schließlich
unter großer musikalischer Spannung  seine Haut.  Im Inneren nimmt ein anderes, neues
Wesen immer klarere Gestalt an, schwebt einen Moment lang rosig, nackt und triumphierend
im schwerelosen Raum und driftet dann aus unserem Blickfeld. Zurück bleiben amorphe
weißliche Strukturen, die sich weiter drehen und wieder zur Haut eines Körpers werden, der
sich langsam aus dem Bild entfernt. Namenloses Rauschen im schwarzen Nichts des Alls. Ein
Ende, ein Anfang. Für jeden und jedes. each and every

This Epilogue "Brooklyn Bridge" was written in August 2011, nearly 10 years after 9/11/2001.

In 1992, Josef Thum (Painter) and Ulrich Görtz (Sculptor) detected by accident  a vault under the bottom of  "Edgars Garage" Im Stavenhof, Cologne, which had not been used for more than two centuries.  They decided to use this vault as location for the group exhibition"Stefan Lochners Grab",  in reminiscence of the very famous late gothic painter  Stefan Lochner (Meersburg, 1400 – Cologne, 1452), and invited me to contribute with a soundinstallation, which had an original lenght of 30 minutes, which were repeated the whole time. The posted track is a strongly compacted  version and has been played only once on the opening of the exhibition.

Welcome to InterArtCorporation 

This interdisciplinary  project  was founded by Johannes Heinen in 1999 and contains works, which were created in collaboration with artists, who are working in the fields of  fine arts, theater, dance, performance, installation, film+video , audio-drama and architecture. 

Some of them, especially  the multimedia-project  "Open Wounds" (about  9/11), which started in fall 2001, were never realized, but the music is still there and can also stand for itself.
