Genex is the newest product of today’s Techno scene, defined by fast-paced grooves that keep you moving and synths that stab your soul. This guy will do some serious damage to the dancefloor.

When Jim van de Ruit (’02) got in touch with playing the guitar at the age of 11, he knew he wanted to become a musician. Since then, he has kept on making music and switched to electronic music when he was 15. But after visiting his first real rave, he knew he wanted to make his techno sounds like the professionals. While he is at the helm of this musical journey as the DJ and producer, Genex’s sound can be characterised by high-energy, fast-paced grooves that are guaranteed to keep audiences moving and engaged from start to finish. With a keen ear for techno, Genex weaves together mesmerising rhythms and synths to create a soundscape that is both dynamic and captivating.

Summer is in full swing, and this month's - vinyl only - podcast is bound to elevate your mood. Carmen Electro's vinyl selections embody the art of groove techno. 

Carmen Electro is a Finnish DJ whose burning passion for music has led her on a journey of self-discovery. More than just a DJ project, Carmen Electro represents a broader ideology of embracing discomfort, seeking new experiences, connecting with others, and channelling creativity and positive energy into personal and shared hedonism, for which vinyl DJing is the perfect medium.

Her selection principles see her dig for records based on emotion rather than genre. As a result, Carmen often finds herself most excited in playful combinations of different genres of dance music — though techno acts as the red thread that connects everything. Her sets aim to highlight the legacy of historical producers and styles while also bringing grateful attention to new-gen artists who keep the spirit of the underground alive.

For the 65th edition of our Podcast Series, we welcome Supergloss. After a superb performance at our latest edition at Else, she now teases what she will bring to this year's ADE. 

Born and raised in Germany, Supergloss began her musical journey at the age of five when she started playing the classical piano. Her musical interests and tastes continued to evolve as she grew up, moving from Hyperpop to Hip Hop before finally finding her passion in Techno after settling in Berlin. Refusing to be defined by a single style or label, Supergloss offers a fresh adventure with each new mix she creates.

Drawing inspiration from the timeless techno tracks of the 90s and 00s, Supergloss creates a highly danceable blend of energetic sounds that seamlessly combines past and future styles. Her musical style sits between the genres of acid, trance and techno. With her music, she aims to activate the listener's feminine energy through a selection of hip-moving tracks and playful beats.

Supergloss will return in the booth on the final day of our ADE marathon during Intercell x Club Heart Broken.

Putting it down for our 66th edition of the Podcast Series is Lúcia Lu.

A delightful night with the warranty that all the hips in a room will be shaking is the magic power of Lucia Lu. The Berlin-born DJ and full-time icon is fusing punchy sounds with her highly energetic presence to serve a musical specialité through every set and please the crowd in every single way.
Her unpredictable music selection speaks for the diversity and versatility of the artist itself. With her wide-range music selection, she can go from a one-two-step dance to a hard rave in the blink of an eye.

Hailing from Nijmegen, we present Eva Vrijdag for the 67th instalment of the Intercell Podcast series. Following her dynamic performance during the Superstrings takeover at Intercell x Narciss pres. Language of Love this summer, she returns with a specially curated Rave Mix.

Fuelled by a profound passion for music and a regular spot on the dance floor, Eva Vrijdag decided to explore the world behind the turntables. Over the past year, she has showcased her sound at various venues after starting her journey at Off The Grid in her hometown. While her sets typically encompass a diverse range of genres, Eva prefers to let the music speak for her.

For this 68th instalment of the podcast series we welcome François X.

François X, a celebrated French techno icon, is known for his enthralling and unpredictable sets that blend fast-paced techno, elements of trance and ghetto tech with an unmistakable touch of elegance. His music exudes a palpable sense of physicality and sensuality, leaving a lasting impression on his audience. This set was recorded live from an unknown location in late 2023.

P. Truss' style is formed by the following three staples: throwing down one track after the other in a fast pace, unpredictable dj sets & guaranteed to make you smile.With music ranging from house, acid and some serious techno cuts we’re sure he'll bring you an hour of pure dancing madness, as warm-up for his set at Intercell Indoor festival.

Heating up the AUX for 70th edition of the podcast is non other than: CRYME.

Originating from deep in Berlin’s underground scene, CRYME’s style and selection combines the energy of techno with the love and positive vibes of House music.

Described by his peers as “a master of rhythm who plays CDJ’s like a musical instrument”, expect high energy, fast pace and big smiles when his rhythmic, vocal infused set builds a happy, love filled dance floor.

Edition 71 in the Intercell Podcast Series is Baraka.

Baraka embodies the essence of the "lucky star" concept. In 2020, DJ and producer Cristofeu and DJ sa+ga collaborated to create a series of tracks blending poetic vocals, acid sounds, and synthetic layers, drawing influence from trance, trip-hop, and drum'n'bass, as well as artists like Prodigy, Massive Attack, and Björk. Their music truly shines on stage, transforming venues into pulsating dance floors, whether at the Berghain/Panorama Bar in Berlin, the Trabendo in Paris, or events like Positive Education festival and Boiler Room. At this rate, the duo's lucky star is unlikely to fade away soon.

Baraka will make their debut this summer at Summer Sweat on June 23rd.

The 72nd edition of the Podcast Series welcomes Dangerous Dreaming.

From the stage to the studio and pulling strings behind the scenes, Dangerous Dreaming's impact is widespread. After launching his project with two joint EPs alongside Marlon Hoffstadt, he took on a pivotal role at the Club Heart Broken record label. As its creative director and artist, Dangerous Dreaming has been propelling the label forward while continuing to produce music for his self-titled series. With acclaimed mixes and releases such as "Take Me Higher," "Power Pulse," and "Come Tempt Me," he has established a unique and distinct sound, curated for dreamers on the dance floor. Blending house, prog, trance, and percussion-heavy techno, he creates what he describes as "the soundtrack to sleepless nights in the heart of the city"—an approach that has opened doors to prestigious shows across Europe and Australia. This sets the stage for his debut release on Club Heart Broken in the summer of 2024.

Number 73 brings Frankfurt-based duo ''VILLA'' to the Podcast Series. After having them over in Berlin for our Summer Groove edition at Else, we knew we needed to have them on display for this month's entry.

VILLA is known for their dynamic performances and modern approach to their genre both in Germany and internationally. Their creative mixing and high-energy tracks have built them a loyal, growing fan base. Also their own productions have received critical acclaim and offered them releases on labels such as Monnom Black, Mutual Rytm and Akronym. With their style being supported by notable DJs around the globe, VILLA is a duo to be looking out for.

The 74th edition of the Podcast Series welcomes Alec Dienaar.

Alec Dienaar, from the city Amersfoort, stands out in the techno scene with a unique sound that blends the classic and modern. His music is filled with percussion, catchy grooves, and compelling vocals that energize dancefloors.

Alec's tracks combine nostalgic elements with a fresh, energetic vibe, creating a powerful experience that drives listeners to dance and feel euphoric. Join Alec Dienaar on a musical journey where each beat and rhythm merges classic elements with innovative sounds, creating an exciting, timeless groove.

Entry number 75 of the Podcast Series is brought to you by Waxdiva. 

A 22-year-old vinyl enthusiast from Amsterdam, making her mark as a captivating new force in the electronic music scene. Her sets combine melancholic, dreamy, and pulsing sounds, creating immersive sonic landscapes. 

Inspired by the Amsterdam underground scene, where the performances she witnessed evoked emotions that linger long after the music fades, she started a journey that led her to play at venues like Basis and Effenaar. Driven by a passion for connection, Waxdiva continually evolves her craft, aiming to find balance and happiness by sharing her love for music and connecting with people through sound.

Waxdiva will be joining us in Klokgebouw at Intercell Eindhoven.

This year's final entry of the Podcast series is delivered by Only Fire.

Only Fire is a DJ and producer from Croatia, now based in Berlin. Known for blending humour and hyper-sexuality in club music and his use of the Siri voice in his tracks. He has collaborated with artists like Cobrah, Brooke Candy, Heidi Montag, and Chase Icon, and toured alongside SHYGIRL. His work has been featured in campaigns by brands such as Loewe, JW Anderson, and Luis de Javier, as well as publications including Vogue Russia. His music was also featured in Rabanne Beauty's global campaign, including a foundation launch with Troye Sivan. Recent coverage includes 1883 Magazine and Interview Magazine.

We're kicking off the year with Vilchezz. 

Berlin-based and originally from Andalucia, Vilchezz draws inspiration from the city’s vibrant electronic music culture and his deep-rooted passion for clubbing, which first ignited his journey into music production. Influenced by a diverse range of genres and iconic acts, he has crafted a distinctive sound that has earned him recognition in today’s electronic music landscape.

In this mix, Vilchezz showcases the sound that made his name prominent today. Paced rhythm-heavy techno with tight percussion and strongly sound-designed texture. It's a great reflection of his approach to music and cementing himself as one to watch.

February’s cold stands no chance against the heat of Olympe4000's set.

Olympe4000 leads a new generation for whom the dancefloor is above all an open space where identities and music mix. In her sets, furious rhythms, bass and techno breakbeats intersect. Behind her turntables, musical genres mingle. 

Number 78 of our PodcastSeries distills Olympe4000’s current sonic vision: a percussive and groovy blend of hardgroove, techno, hard house, and trance, with echoes of batucada woven into its pulse. A rhythmic, sensual, high-energy trip, where she’s also hidden three unreleased tracks for those who listen closely.

In the 79th edition of our Podcast Series, ALIS. sets the tone for the upcoming summer.

Hailing from Zaporizhzhya, Ukraine, and now based in Berlin, ALIS. weaves together a rich tapestry of sounds, from tribal techno and 90s trance to speed garage and ghetto tech. Her approach mixes the old school with the cutting edge, creating a musical experience where anything can, and does, happen.

ALIS. takes you on a journey through a vibrant set that blends diverse genres infused with UK influences, tribal elements, and nostalgic Italo motifs. Preparing us for the long-awaited summer.

For the 80th edition of our Podcast Series we welcome La La.

A Glasgow native whose trajectory has spanned continents, airwaves, and dance floors. With a sound rooted in raw club energy and shaped by years of touring, her sets balance euphoria and precision. La La has built a world of her own. Her set captures that spirit in full motion.

Intercell was established in 2015 and emerged from an illegal rave on the outskirts of Amsterdam. It critically balances audiovisual elements with club intimacy while taking a diverse approach to the new era of electronic music – introducing new talent to renowned artists, focusing on fresh collaborations and (co)curations, and pushing the scope of local scenes by broadcasting worldwide.
