For the first Klasse Wrecks release of 2024, the label looks back to 2020 and a previously digital only track from label co-owner Mr. Ho. During the first lockdown of covid Mr. Ho released '000Baby' as part of the digital 'Homeboys' EP alongside Luca Lozano. An alternative version popped up on the 'Michaelsoft' album in 2021 but the much lauded original has never seen the light of day on wax....until now. The first 10inch on Klasse Wrecks also features a suped and sped up interpretation from Om Unit, who expertly increases the pressure with deft 808 bass subs, a half time swagger and dubbed out atmospherics.

Colombian DJ and Producer Hermetics returns with Prometheus Rising, a bold six-track EP which propels you into a brave new world, in which AI and high technology intertwine with nature and techno-pagan spirituality. A utopian future where the spirit of Prometheus (the Greek god who moulded humans from clay and gave them technology) provides a unifying force to reignite the spirit of humanity.

The first track on the Prometheus Rising EP, Hyperion, guides you through a melancholic, dystopian soundscape of jungle and breakbeat with a mystical, esoteric touch. With a nod to ‘Future Sounds of London’, Hyperion represents the fall before the rise of the Promethean age.

Slam Jams is always one of the most fun elements of Holding Hands to put together because I get to combine a wide variety of banging slammy jammy vibes from across the board in one place.

This time I’ve got one track from returning peak time maestros not even noticed, one from myself (Desert Sound Colony) and two from label newcomers Mr Jones and DJ Merlín. Each one has a different flavour and it’s fair to say each one slaps harder than a 17th century gentleman brandishing his white glove.
