CARGO Recording is a project initiated by the IBOAT’s team in Bordeaux. It supports artists through various tools such as a label, artistic residencies, workshops, publishing, professional accompaniment and visual arts. Submarine Club Vol.1 is the culmination of an artistic project and an accomplished vision of contemporary electronic music. In this first volume, 12 artists deliver their audio definition of the IBOAT Club and submarine dance. May this compilation bring you the dance and pleasure that club culture has given us for so many years.

After the sentimental success of his debut "La Fragua," Mexican producer Rodman returns with the "Falcata EP," featuring six new productions for Ineffable.

The record's title comes from the name of an ancient sword, which is quite apt as the sharp sound-design & impressive perc work slices through the EP from start to finish. It fluctuates between moods, touching on the deeper, dubbed out & echoed sounds of Rodman's palette, and moving swiftly into complex rhythmic patterns that were definitely built with the club in mind.

Nerve Collect goes global with its new and futuristic Machine Learning EP - a thrilling blend of worldly rhythms and twisted electronics from New York based Brazilian-American producer Doctor Jeep aka Andre Lira available as 12” vinyl and on all digital platforms.

Lira is a producer who is able to weave together threads from many different genres into his own new forms. His forward-thinking sounds draw on everything from drum & bass to techno, dancehall to electro, always with an unwavering focus on the dance floor. So far they have come on the eclectic likes of Medellin's TraTraTrax, Berlin’s SPE:C, and his own label DRX (amongst others).

The 6 tracks on this EP showcase Jeep's variety, from the distorted kicks and zippy synths of 'Machine Learning' and 'Mad T', to more straight forward 4x4 techno/tech-house crossovers of 'Shake The Club' and 'Largatixa, to futuristic grime mutations in 'Phase Morph' and ravey dancehall of 'Oil Drum' featuring Montreal-based SIM.

This is another fresh and unpredictable EP from Nerve Collect, although its impact on the club is very predictable: pure carnage.

Intercept welcomes 'De School' regular Tsepo back to the label with his signature percussive club sound. After 2023's 'Something Bubbly / There You Go' 'Basic Grooves' is his most stripped-back work yet. HEHE is the first of an EP that features two tracks with a distinctive flow, bringing a sense of playfulness and fun. Inspired by a wide range of genres, both songs have been doing their rounds in clubs, and we're sure this is just the start of something special. We're happy to have Jan back with another magnificent EP.

London rave label Goddezz & staple UK club series Kyso Sound fuse their DNA coils and reveal to you the Genesis Pool. A glimpse into a world beneath ours, an ekosystem of subterranean currents and nu-life flickering in the depths. Genesis Pool is a various artists compilation comprised of eleven droplets of underground dance futurism; shimmers of grime, trance, jungle, ghetto and uk bass present a bio-sample that captures every strand of the current UK underground.

The droplet that began the discovery of the Gen Pool; ZaaZaa (also one half of Kiara Scuro) delivers an ethereal and urth-shattering opening track that fuses a grime skeleton filled with guttural pulses and crashing claps with ZaaZaa's own angelic vocals.

In the midst of the chaotic world brought forth by the global pandemic, a digital connection was forged, and the sonic explorers known as MXC emerged from the shadows. Maroki and Coralie, two enigmatic figures with a shared passion for pushing the boundaries of their own sound, embarked on a collaborative journey. Walking a tightrope between introspective club music and avant-garde experimental recordings, MXC effortlessly blur the lines, transcending genre limitations with their distinctive sound.

This year their works ‘Etait Une’ and ‘Tuna B’ land on Who’s Susan, repelling them deep into bass and breaks territory.
