Advice for the DJs, producers and artists of our community 
Hmm, I would say be inspired by and connect with other people, nature, life , parties or whatever gets you going, exploring different avenues, but always be true to your own individual sound. The more you make, the more you dance, and the more you mix your sound will find you. Do what makes you happy, practice, dig for your life, and if you work hard enough your time will come bbz. Take time to have fun with your friends ! Coz at the end of the day, that’s all that is really guaranteed in this fickle industry, without selling your soul of course ! And ask yourself, is this for love or money? Money ofc can bring happiness and stability, but shared experiences are worth more. Learn to really love yourself and put your mental health first.

I absolutely recommend getting moulded hearing protection coz the club is sometimes just too damn loud. Let’s make the most of life and what we have, and if you’re blessed with hearing I suggest you cherish it and look after it. You can get cute funky colours and they will become a cute raving accessory. Its also way easier to hear your friends in the club and you won’t need to shout. It means you can enjoy the subs and be closer to the speakers safely. I have a dear friend who is suffering currently and it affects a lot more than just your precious ears lemme tell you.  This doesn’t just apply to DJs, anyone working in a club, or raving. PLEASE !  Theres something in London, the Musicians’ Hearing Health Scheme, which some people are lucky enough to benefit from, give it a go, its mega discounted, but even if it isn’t.. Treat yourself. The first time we linked up with Walter, the rain shut us down, and with him moving to New York in just five days, we had one shot to make it happen. He’s as old-school as it gets, and this Chicago & Jackin’ House mix is a testament to that. LA just lost one of the good ones, but before Walter headed back home to the east cost, he left us with this high-energy, soulful mix — a proper sendoff packed with choppy samples, bouncy synths, and pure Jackin’ House spirit.

Part two of RA.999: two NYC Downlow favourites go back-to-back for the first time with a jubilant homage to classic house.

The RA Podcast launched 19 years ago in 2006, making it one of the world's longest-running online mix series. As we gear up to celebrate the 1,000th episode, RA.999 lands with five mixes across five days with a cohort of artists who've left a singular mark on electronic music over the past few decades. The chemistry and legacy of these duos make for something very special—and worthy of such a huge milestone.

First up was 1morning and Regal86 with a live recording from New York's Bossa Nova. Next up? We move to NYC Downlow, and who better to capture Glastonbury's beloved queer utopia than Prosumer and Peach, going back-to-back for the first time.

If house is your thing, then Prosumer and Peach going one-for-one on the decks is nothing short of a treat. With Glastonbury still just about in the rearview mirror, this mix captures the spirit of NYC Downlow. If you're familiar, you'll know this means steamy euphoria all-night long, sweat dripping from the ceiling and an intoxicating feeling in the humid air.

And Prosumer is a true Downlow darling—a treasured custodian and storyteller of dance music who delivered his first RA Podcast way back in 2007. "If a record doesn't move me emotionally or physically, I won't play it out," he said at the time, befitting of the impeccable curation and irresistible body groove that became his trademarks. He is, in the words of the Johnny Dangerous track in the mix, the "King of Clubs."

For Peach, RA.999 marks a full-circle moment: Prosumer's 2019 closing set in the Downlow is one of her all-time Glastonbury memories. Since her first RA Podcast in 2021, the London-based artist has only grown more in-demand, with sets that typically traverse the house and techno lexicon—and occasionally R&B—with a distinctly peppy energy. "Neither of us are afraid to go deep," she said about playing with Prosumer. "We just had fun with it."
