This is the recording of my opening Psytechno sonic journey from the Hidden Leaf ft Audiofire at The Castle event on Friday, 24th September 2022 where I had the honour of initiating the evening's festivities. (Track ID's included.)

Clayton Cloete, the visionary behind the Interface Project, traces the genesis of his musical journey back to 2019 when he discovered a profound affinity for Techno. Since then, he has meticulously curated a diverse collection of sonic waves, ranging from the ethereal realms of psychedelic and progressive techno to the relentless energy of its harder variants, tailored for both forest gatherings and pulsating club nights.

The moniker "Interface" symbolizes the fusion of humanity and technology, reflecting Clayton's belief in the transformative power of technological interaction in crafting immersive experiences.

In his performances, Clayton elevates the art of DJing by prioritizing intelligence and sophistication in his blends and selections. Each set becomes a sonic odyssey, guiding listeners through an immersive journey where auditory, visual, and even biological elements harmonize to forge deep connections and foster symbiosis among participants.

A staunch advocate of cutting-edge techno sounds, Clayton champions labels such as Filth On Acid, KNTXT, NINETOZERO, Drumcode, and others in his DJ sets. He sees these labels as vanguards of a forward-thinking movement within the techno landscape, enabling him to craft a unique sonic narrative that pushes boundaries and defies convention.

Offstage, Clayton remains an avid participant in the techno community, finding solace and inspiration on dance floors at clubs and festivals, where he immerses himself in the therapeutic embrace of dance alongside kindred spirits and fellow enthusiasts.

With a passion for pushing sonic boundaries and a dedication to forging meaningful connections through music, Clayton continues to shape the Interface project into a beacon of innovation and expression.
