Infinite Loop (2013)

To celebrate the premiere of the newest Intermixture single "A Greater Reality" this monday, I'm finally making available a special unreleased track that's been tucked away for some time!

Originally called Cap Mucher, Map Cruncher marks the first joining forces of dub electronic artist Push/Pull and Intermixture.  After completing it in 2012, we sat on it for the next few years and only played it at select live performances. Two years later I'm excited to make it available and to see the response it gets!

A mind-mingling journey of sounds reminiscent of insatiably groovy trip-hop, twisted glitch-hop, psyfunk, or whatever genre it fits, you decide! Tell us what you think.

Intermixture - Map Cruncher (feat. Push/Pull)

One of the latest productions still in development, its a new take on Entropy Convolution, featured on They're Gonna Rupture in 2011. This is a sample of the track as it nears it final stages of production. The full-length version will be live-only until the announcement of the new LP: Intermixture:Undefined, an Anthology of Intermixture.

The very first officially released collaborative remix between Push/Pull and Intermixture, Travellers Here will both taunt and tame your ears and mind. Combining psychedelic landscapes and ambience with non-stop bouncing beats and grungry surprise basslines, this track will travel when and where you least expect it.

Travellers Here (ft Push/Pull)

Fresh off the brand new studio comes the latest in Intermixture evolution, "Slapshot" is the first single to be released from the 6-track original album coming this summer.  The name is a throwback to one of the most adrenaline-fueled, unpredictable sports of all time, Hockey.  

The new studio has opened up an extremely wide-range of new opportunities for the quality of mastering and complex production-techniques I've always dedicated myself to crafting within the Intermixture sound.  With this track I focused heavily on each measure's own unique layer of synths and sounds. I developed 82 unique synthesizers, most that play for only a few fractions of a second, and layered them individually one-by-one to give Slapshot the energy and movement I was looking for.  Being unhindered by my prior studio's underachievements breathed a new life into the sound that resulted. Enjoy, share, and, just like everything before it, remember its FREE!

To Infinity and BEYOND!! 10 min version of "Infinite Loop," the first completed Intemixture track of 2013. With new hardware and infinite sources of inspiration, this year has been a huge boost for Intermixture thus far, pushing the limits a little further... Intermixture goes through phases, and has entered the next stage of his musical evolution.  "Infinity," and all that it encompasses and can imply is relative to music and creativity, humanity in so many ways.. I'm not freaking dead. Just on lifes largest musical hiatus ever. Will be back. intermixture is like a well prepared salsa, it takes a balanced lot of different ingredients and processes them down into a fine, delicious paste.
