Probably my favorite part of any song. Much of this was written in Arizona.

Rooftops started as a simple bassline that I sent to my friend. He added a lot more music to it. I finished the bassline and added the drums, changed up the arrangement. It was originally named, timthenmethentimthenme, or something like that. It got worse as we traded the song back and forth. He hates the woodblock. I say, I don't hear enough woodblock these days. Rooftops (Old Version)

This is a song from my Mt. Aisma project. It features a sample of whales singing to each other. In this song I tried to avoid using a verse chorus verse chorus format and instead wrote in terms of sections or movements. The first is a reversed melody that is not structurally strong but serves as a way to introduce the whale samples. The last movement is the second reversed. It was difficult to write because I had to compose the forward version then reverse to hear how it would sound. I am pretty pleased with the outcome but still might make some changes later on.
