This new edition brings together twelve forward-thinking producers from across the globe to form a sonic map where mutant bass, polyrhythmic techno, twisted breaks, and futuristic club energy all converge.

The visual identity of the release was created by KAYU, whose symbolic and layered artwork sets the tone for the compilation’s sonic world. In addition, the limited vinyl edition features a custom augmented reality experience designed by Muluc Visual Lab, turning the physical record into an interactive object that blurs the line between sound, art and digital craft.

HYBRID PULSE 2 will be released on October 2, digitally and LTD 12” vinyl. A special launch event will take place in Bogotá on October 17.

A new addition to the NHS roster, Steel Traxx joins at the 34 mark with three surging, buzzy club offerings applicable across a span of factors; energy, pace, duration of evening, yet Cohesive in their strident hypnotism. The Manchester-based producer carries a short, yet pronounced legacy of productions, having honed a definable approach to the brand of wonky, eclectic club music. Initial outings via a debut EP on London’s Erbium Records and single-track features on Manchester’s own Rubber Works demonstrate a clear vision and intention of sound, furthered only by the entrance into NHS territory.

A delicate balance of synthetics drenched in unnatural delays, crunchy, earthy percussion sampling and haunting melodies make for a package of intensely club-ready USB additions tailored effectively to a range of atmospheres. “mouth full of echo” is the first dawn. A blinding, golden surge spilling over every surface. It’s the sound of something that shouldn’t have survived the night, but did — and now sings, fiercely, joyfully, with a mouth full of sunlight and echo. It’s a triumphant sunbeam burning through the fog, warm and merciless, filling the world with itself.

a/ntity is the side project of Anna Morskaya (Digitonica) — an artist whose music has been released on labels such as Over my body, Hyperlink, Infinito Audio Network, Postworld, Geometric Corruption, Exiles, Researchcore, Curiosity Pill and more. Known for her intricate and emotional soundscapes, she now turns to a different kind of stillness.
