@dustyohms has been a prominent feature throughout the history of Melbourne’s renowned Uncomfortable Beats label, appearing on numerous compilations, remixes and DJ mixes. We’ve been anxiously anticipating the first full EP release from the British beat-maker, and are pleased to finally present ‘Waves From Within’; a 5-track project packing a heavy tide of wonky beats and cutting bass.

Throughout the release, you will hear samples recorded in Japan, blended with suitably mangled beats. Each track was crafted on an old dusty 12 channel mixer used in conjunction with assorted analog hardware and effects.

‘Waves From Within’ is an ode to the rowdy high street in Dusty’s old home town of Essex, documenting a six-week time span between moving studio, visiting Japan and staying between friends living rooms back in the UK.

Polytope’s first EP welcomes two rising stars from the European bass music scene: Brussels-based fa:act and Parisian artist Meli Mena. The duo has crafted a six-track, club-ready opus featuring a special collaboration and a remix by Maoupa Mazzocchetti.

"COUGH TWICE IF YOU CARE" dives into the depths of the hardcore continuum with the distinctive styles of both artists on full display.

fa:act contributes two dancehall-inspired bangers with his signature touch: “Wizard Bubble” and “Breeze and Riddim.”

Meli Mena delivers two high-energy club tracks infused with breakbeat influences and IDM resonances: “Hot Girls Get Sad” and “SideQuest Nap.”

Together, the pair released the now-renowned 140 bpm club anthem “Dust Drip,” a track that has lit up dancefloors around the globe.

Each piece receives the unique analog treatment of Maoupa Mazzocchetti, who also contributes a powerful remix of Meli Mena’s “SideQuest Nap.”
