Sami Baha’s third album, Mistarget, marks the inaugural entry for Amel’s catalogue, a new- generation label he co-founded in 2024 promoting a non-sectarian approach to what being a label is about. The EP distills Baha’s diverse influences as a globetrotter. Eclectic but effortlessly digestible, Mistarget blends dreamy synth backdrops and hip- hop adjacent beats with techniques borrowed from the post- clubbing world Baha is close to. Featuring his signature style of acute refinement-meets- unfamiliar detours, Mistarget is an exercise in sonic detournement, shaping familiar sounds into new forms. Club atmospheres and crescendos alternate with moments of repose, weaving intricate textures and palettes into an unpredictable sonic kaleidoscope. 

Reality kicks in with Hunt’s synth stabs and frenetic drum patterns, paving the way for an almost claustrophobic melody and Baha’s signature deeper- than-life bass progressions. 

An almost glam riff coming out of nowhere, dissolving as quickly as it came. Pressing, haunting drums. A flute, sampled screams. A synth refrain comes and goes, only apparently without a pattern. Mistarget, Sami Baha third Album’s first single and title track, feels like being in a chase —An aetherial, deconstructed take on trip hop sensibilities meeting trap bravado. 

Cutting through the calm, Sato is a triumphant aggregation of noise and pixelated drums, where the purest underground rave attitude meets a deconstructed take on techno’s most familiar tropes. 

Step into Mistarget world. A tapestry of ambient sounds in Passages opens up the record. A lost fragment of a soundtrack for a film that never existed. 

Spiraling vocal samples drive Mistarget’s most willfully raw moment, Dogru. An interplay of guitar and drums that is Baha’s most evident nod to the beat-making side of his practice. 

Bakar Feek, featuring Vocalist Almaazz feels like an alt- acoustic take on an 80s Istanbul midsummer neo-pop dream. 

With Aml, we are gently rocked back to Baha’s beautiful dream-esque arrangements,a rainy-day combination of glowing, airy synths, stuttering percussion, and a relaxed downtempo arrangement.

We premiere 'Bodies and River' which is the opening track off of Rumina's upcoming EP Chase to be released via Precious Metals on the 31st of January . It lulls you into a rhythm that slowly unwinds and breaks out with cathartic sonics and vocals, setting the tone for the remainder of the ep.

Petals of Nehan unfolds as a sonic journey where powerful and unpredictable movements of sound intertwine with cultural influences and personal sensibilities. Each track shifts in form at times intense, at others restrained yet quietly imbued with an inner strength evoking petals drifting with intention. Through these evolving textures, the EP explores the power of music to bridge the inner and outer worlds.

In the collaborative track “Forsaken Voices” with xato, a flowing current of sound emerges from the merging of sensibilities, leading to a deeper musical exploration.

The EP also features remixes by Sweden-based duo Quit Life, France-based artist Ytem, and Austria-based Kenji Araki. Their contributions bring distinct perspectives shaped by their diverse cultural backgrounds, expanding the sonic landscape of the release.

W.ANNA.W is a Japan based artist, vocalist, and producer who weaves ambient, experimental, and organic sounds into intimate yet expansive sonic landscapes. Her music transcends genre boundaries, evolving freely with quiet, expressive depth. Through her work, she invites listeners into a reflective, introspective dialogue a space to pause, listen, and feel.

₽0₽0 is an artist who expands her creativity over music production, songwriting, radio shows, DJing, and live performances. Her current style fuses heavy bass, hard-hitting drums, broken patterns, and sweet-yet-sweaty lyrics delivered in a cheerleader-like manner.

Over the last year, ₽0₽0 has released music on various international online labels such as Swine Daily [Slovakia], Santa Sede [Argentina], Windows.de [Germany], and Explity [France]. Her tracks have been played on HÖR and local radio stations worldwide.

In 2024, ₽0₽0 also curated her show on Australian radio station AREA3000 and contributed sound design for projects exhibited at the Russian Museum [Spb], GES-2 [Msk], and Yandex Museum [Msk].

With her music and performances, ₽0₽0 aims to maintain a sense of experimentation, freedom, and a celebration of genre and cultural diversity to the local scene. Next year, she's set to start working on her first full-length album.
