tonight’s show had a more dark/emo vibe to it, and what’s more emo than getting nailed to a cross? dying and coming back to life just to mess with people? talk about an emo DRAMA QUEEN 🙄

for tonight’s show’s meme edit, i added the crescent moon (the sighting of which denotes the start/end of the month of Ramadan), and I also added a passover seder at Bob the Minion (Our Lord and Savior)’s feet. I’ve added an emo patrick and emo squidward to join my normal emo spongebob edit (the face of the show, if you will) at this passover seder, and they’re having a great time (patrick’s the youngest so he’s reading the four questions).

So it’s been over a week, and I’m still recovering from being 3 rows away from the Lorde and savior herself at her Santa Barbara concert. Raving/screaming along to Ribs/Green Light/Perfect Places?? Transcendent tbfh. She also made a point to mention that we were the “most vocal” show of the tour (bc of how much ppl would yell things during the breaks) - which I think was her nice way of saying “I’d shush you but you fuckers would just add it to your lil compilation vids”… 😭😭😭

I started Episode 5 with underscores’ track “Melodrama” (it was only fitting 😉). Our meme cover this episode is a shot from last month’s iconic Lorde shushing compilation (go here if you don’t know what I’m referring to: bit.ly/lordesh) - and I’ve added our normal emo gang as her shush victims. SB and Patrick are sorry for shouting Lorde - they couldn’t help it, the excitement overtook them! (Squidward seems to be a little less sorry 🖕)…

WELL, long time no speak my Little Excessers! (“Little Monsters” is sooo 2009). I’ve officially fallen so far behind in posting Internet Excess episodes on Soundcloud that, while this episode here (no. 11) was the 1st for KCSB’s Summer Session A schedule - and my first in my “new” Sat. @ 1am timeslot - it’s now almost time for the Summer Session B(!) schedule to begin! But no matter, the Excess must go on!

Anyways, I KNEW getting Final Cut would come in handy some day (this is a video, although you can't see it here on Soundcloud cause I can't upload videos for the cover 😕 - check out my IG to see it)!! Although you wouldn’t know it was Final Cut from these basic-ass Powerpoint video effects (“Come on iMovie! All good things come to an end - it’s a necessity for new things to begin! As such, as KCSB’s Spring Quarter schedule came to a close on June 27th, Internet Excess' possession of the Tue @ 12am timeslot came to a close 🪦😪. I decided to mourn accordingly on this episode’s cover, with my own take on this iconic obituary meme (bit.ly/3QH0J79). I’d like to thank Mariah Carey for singing at the timeslot’s funeral. From one skinny legend (bit.ly/3QlCBak) to another, “Bye Bye!” (by Mariah Carey)

But fear not! Internet Excess *itself* was reborn anew! With my 11th episode (which aired on July 2nd), Internet Excess’s 2nd era began, with it’s Saturdays @ 1am timeslot. Let us step out into the (even later) night, and see what adventures this new era holds for us…
