[Censured Version] He smiled with a sudden vigor, eyes lit by some fierce thought. The bottle hit the wall, his hands tearing sequined and polka-dot clothes into shreds. Some clung to his sweating body, others fell like ashes on the floor. He stood beneath the chandelier, weeping in silence, a figure crumbling in its own ruin. His rage twisted into a curse, an outcry that never broke. At the window, his shadow breathed with the morning. I watched through the half-open door, small, silent, staring at the animal he believed himself to be.
