Polluted Minds in the brand new record by INTERO. This band from the city of Nijmegen in The Netherlands plays groove metal influenced by bands like Machine Head, Lamb Of God, Prong and Pantera. INTERO has been around since 2005.  In the early days they where influenced by NYHC bands like Biohazard and Madball. Later on the style became more metal. The lyrics are about society, politics and individual frustrations. Polluted Minds is INTERO's third release. It is produced by Simon Snel (Black Bottle Riot) and Dion Vermaes. The cover-art is made by the Dutch self taught artist Mattijn Franssen.

‘Nocebo’ refers to fear fueled by media. It’s about the way people can get so awash by information, they get  struck by hysteria. Nocebo’s tempo is faster than we’ve grown accustomed to from Intero over the last few  years. In this aspect the band hearkens back to their early days. A fresh element is introduced as well: a seven string guitar. The best of old and new is tied together with blistering aggression.
