Following up on his debut release with the ambient/post-classical label {int}erpret null, the Polish composer Grabek announces a new album to be released on 30th April 2021. Having intensified his creative output as of late, including a contribution to the {int}erpret null compilation 'miniatures, vol. 1' alongside artists such as Peter Broderick, B. Fleischmann, Arms and Sleepers, David Allred, and Aidan Baker, as well as a recent EP 'variations on wieniawski', Grabek will now shift focus to releasing a follow up to his stunning 2020 full-length album 'imagine landscapes'. His new effort, composed of 10 songs and titled 'Tiny Melodies', is his most focused work yet and promises to captivate fans of neoclassical, modern-classical, and minimal electronic genres. Leading the way is the 1st single 'Two', showcasing Grabek's skillful ability to combine electronic and acoustic instruments into a cohesive whole. Calming, gentle, and meditative, 'Two' is a mesmerizing initial taste of what's to come.

Having occasionally released music under his real name, Mirza Ramic (of Arms and Sleepers & Saigon Would Be Seoul) will be releasing a string of standalone singles this year outside of his usual music projects. In celebration of Piano Day 2021, Mirza Ramic will present 'Letting Go', a somber 3-minute piece mostly centered around piano. For last year's Piano Day, Mirza unexpectedly found himself in Riga, Latvia as his final Russian tour dates (as Arms and Sleepers) were canceled amidst the pandemic. This was a musically productive period, but nevertheless one filled with anxiety and uncertainty as Covid-19 was introducing a new global reality in March 2020. The upcoming new single is symbolically released a year later and is in many ways about letting go of those surreal and complicated feelings that we all felt in 2020, especially at the onset of the crisis. 'Letting Go' is about processing and releasing in order to move on, regardless of how difficult the path forward might seem.

Saigon Would Be Seoul is the solo project from Mirza Ramic of the electronic music duo Arms and Sleepers. While spending most of his adult life in the US, Mirza was born in Bosnia & Herzegovina and lived there until 1992, when the Bosnian War forced his family to flee the country. Mirza and his mother would spend the next few years moving across continents, countries and states as refugees. Mirza’s father did not survive the war; he was killed by a mortar shell in 1993. This personal journey of trauma, loss and survival is at the core of the project's DNA. 

As with the debut album 'Everywhere Else Left Behind' (released in June 2019), the latest full-length album 'The Human Stain' deals with Mirza's roots. Musically, however, the new album is a departure from the solo piano pieces that defined the debut release. Taking on a more dark ambient, experimental jazz sound, the Saigon Would Be Seoul project looks to venture even deeper into the vast post-classical genre. While the earlier works could be compared to the music of artists such as Chilly Gonzales, the new material finds more in common with the moody atmosphere of acts such as Bohren & Der Club Of Gore. 

The expanded edition also features instrumental versions of a few songs from the album, three reworks, and four b-sides. Out April 23, 2021 via {int}erpret null.
