08 - Scorched earth

Greek DIY label DYSTATIK (@dystatik), run by Athenian DJ/producer dry_feel (@dry_feel), is very happy to have in Dystatik's family the Producer/Live act from Warsaw, Poland, Wydma (@wydmiarz) with his new EP called "Wieszaj Siekierę".
Six installments of fear and frustration, recorded in his dungeon studio. Muddy, raw sounds reflect his visions of the forthcoming uncertainty, which is difficult to look away from.
Together with his friend, he co-creates a series of audiovisual events named "Salto Mortale" (@salto___mortale), focusing on Dark Electronic music. In his music, he explores different genres ranging from Industrial to Dungeon Synth, trying to capture the essence of raw, dark and experimental sounds.

WL//WH is pleased to premiere the second slice, "Busted", injected with dark strobing Cabaret Voltaire-tinged vibes of electro-punk industrialism, triggering a murky pounding combination of hypnotic drum kicks and slicing beats, by ceaselessly penetrated by erratic, rolling, and prominent bassline eruptions, to drive a rambunctious and restless ride, encircled by oppressive droning synth alarms and twisted vocal repetitions, into a hypnotic swirling dancing catharsis of danger, paranoia, and high-energy late-night dancing bliss.

Today's guest spot is Chlorine Gargoyle from Sydney, Australia. Chlorine Gargoyle makes electronic music that sounds like it was recorded in the wreckage of an abandoned hospital. We are very excited about this intense mix which features some rare gems.

"This is a slice of what my mp3 player sounded like in the mid 00's,
I only had about 128M so they had to count. Re-shuffling your mp3 player after
a day of riding the train. This was the era of the home industrial producer.
Well crafted rhythmic noise had arrived. Aggrotech exploded in the clubs.
People were making amazing things with VST and little hardware and able to
share it easily for the first time.
When I went searching for the remenants of this community when my hard drive
died mid making this set I was sad to see there was few traces in the digital wasteland." - Chlorine Gargoyle
