For our third release, we are happy to welcome Dold. Throughout releases on Polegroup, MindTrip and his very own imprint Arsenik, the Swedish producer has shaped a distinctive sound - raw, minimalistic yet warm and energetic. For INS003 he delivers two tracks. While the title track, "Version", demonstrates Dold's darker side, "Rise And Fall" bears a more hopeful tone. Although the vibes are different, both tracks are driven by the same raw 909 - infused drums that have made Dold one of the hottest Swedish talents in the first place.

As in previous releases, the two originals are accompanied by two remixes on the B-side. The first one comes from Virgo and Soma Records protegé SLV. While focusing on the synth of the title track, smacking percussions and dark tribal sounds add a more punchy and energetic vibe to the original. Klockworks affiliate Newa, however, laid eyes on the pads and strings. Through carrying "Version" into slightly more playful and spheric worlds the Georgian delivers an ideal closing to this records.

Since 2014, Codex Empire has built an international reputation for dark and intense techno productions and live shows.
Mahk Rumbae - the British born, Vienna based producer behind Codex Empire - has been creating challenging experimental electronic music for over 25 years working as one half of industrial/experimental band Konstruktivists as well as a number of varied solo and side-projects.
After releasing several well received EPs on aufnahme + wiedergabe, Sacred Court and Khemia Records, as well as numerous remixes and appearances on V/A compilations, Codex Empire will release his full-length debut album in February 2019 on aufnahme + wiedergabe.
A dark disc in which techno and industrial sounds have a preponderant role.

In Turkey, more and more women+ are facing brutal forms of misogyny every day, facing harassment on a daily basis; rapes and femicides are being normalized by the current system and these kinds of violence are becoming a normal state where women feel themselves even more helpless under the law.

Just as many of the human activities, experiencing music is a shared form of action that has a strong cultural interest with the cultural background of the society one belongs to. As an expression and a manifestation, electronic music has a connecting as well as antithetical strength that mostly shade into a form of becoming one. In that regard we band together as artists from Turkey and from all over the world to break the silence. We are inviting everyone to stand in solidarity with women in their struggle.
