Adesso Music taps South African heavyweights KingDonna and Argento Dust for powerful new remixes of Junior Jack & Pat BDS’s recent smash, ‘E.V.O’.

A rising force in Johannesburg’s house music scene, KingDonna has built a reputation for blending traditional African rhythms with forward-thinking house grooves, with releases on top labels from MoBlack to Nervous. His remix of 'E.V.O.’ is a perfect showcase of this duality – fusing heartfelt, soulful melodies with deep, driving grooves that will light up dancefloors worldwide.

Having cut his teeth as part of The House Junkies collective, Durban-born producer Argento Dust boasts a refined and emotive sound that has caught the attention of legends like Black Coffee and led to releases on Madorasindahouse as well as collaborations with Shimza and more. Dust’s take on ‘E.V.O.’ delivers a more atmospheric and stripped-back approach, with delicate synth and piano motifs raining down over hypnotic rolling drums.

Founded in 2019 by Junior Jack and his music partner Pat BDS, Adesso Music has become a beacon for club-ready, forward-thinking modern house music. With releases from artists like Flashmob, Wally Lopez, CASSIMM, Eldeanyo, Tim Cullen, AndThen, and many more, the label has cemented itself as a champion of both established and emerging underground talent and a definite one to watch.

Second release from Deeptrax Records, which is also a famous recordshop from the Netherlands, features an LYO fave ; Rudi Agius aka Jupiter Jax from Malta. A deep four tracker EP containing real Detroit vibes, pushing Carl Craig, Dan Curtin and Kenny Larkin sounds, beamed into today's world. The first track has an anthem alert tag attached, which is rare in 313 country these days...starting melancholic with lush sounds and firm beats, then slowly building into piano heaven. "Times of dependence" here premiered is a deep ethereal technoid number with lush, conscious sounds and stomping beats, which is pushing the label into deeper, broader territories. Very Limited Edition, greatly analogue mastered by Thee J Johanz of Irdial fame...

Hey there! Thanks for your interest in my first release.
"12" is a small label i founded myself, focused on releasing experimental music, not concentrated to a genre. This release I produced myself with Remixes by my awesome Hoodboys Paradiso Rhythm, Mathis Ruffing and Chromat. 
It's a mellow, rainy, cosy, whatever EP with tracks (more or less) inspired by sociological and psychological aspects I saw myself confronted with the past few years. I want to lead 12 in a direction to value the music, each release will get a 
physical merchandise, like CD, or in this case, Tape. As vinyl is hella 
expensive, releasing a vinyl at the moment doesn't seem to be very realistic, although I would love to. Anyway, expect something different from 12, each release will be a little world in its own.

Man Power left his Northern home and ran south of the border. This is his first offering for the ESP Institute. On side A, he proves that he truly is 'The Tourist', delivering what we’re already toting as our Summer anthem—a relentless hurricane drum pattern full of toms, timbales and splashes that lays the rhythmic foundation for his Pacific chords and euphoric melodies–an undeniable floor-filler that invites all to dance unencumbered by the constraints of “functional” club music. With side B’s 'Oye', Man Power rolls out a similarly vibrant combination of drums and rhythm, however he toughens up the aesthetic with a massive rolling acid bassline, only briefly letting up for a spot of layered marimbas and spriteful pads before culminating in an emotional finale. After spending a couple years churning out tracks for various labels around the world, Man Power has undoubtably shifted his narrative point-of-view and updated his sense of craft upon his induction to the ESP Institute. These two songs will throw a wrench in your holiday.
