According to Valerj, if he had chosen to buy a guitar at the age of fifteen, the story would certainly have been different. Probably, the mix for Intertrax would have been different too.
Italo, dark disco, electronica, Valerj likes uninhibited party sets, built to last. Whether it's an elegant warm-up or a late-night "plasticage", it's hard to know which way to dance with him. Welcome, Valerj!

Давно у нас не было миксов из Санкт-Петербурга. 162-й микс нам прислал Sasha Muravev - диджей и один из основателей промогруппы «Катэраг». Ребята уже засветились в Кики и Бланке, например.
Саша пишет, что "микс пропитан холодным, при этом неравнодушным звучанием, которое коррелирует с настроением ноябрьских вечеров".
Часовой эксперимент, для которого отлично подходит выражение "out of the loop". Здорово, когда молодые музыканты не бояться выходить за границы привычных шаблонов и устоявшихся паттернов.

We haven't had mixes from St. Petersburg for a long time. The 162nd mix was sent to us by Sasha Muravev, a DJ and one of the founders of the Катэраг collective. Guys have already lit up at Kiki and Blank, for example.
Sasha writes that "the mix is imbued with a cold but not indifferent sound that correlates with the mood of November evenings."
An hour-long experiment that can be described as a perfect "out of the loop" mix. It's great when young musicians are not afraid to go beyond the boundaries of common & established patterns.

Нам повезло, что мы встретили Амели на одном из немецких фестивалей. И теперь она записала для нас микс. Одним словом, это маст.

We are moving to Cologne in Germany. Today we have a member of the DJ community e.p.i.q AMSL aka Amelie Liebst as our guest. There are a huge amount of DJs in Cologne but most of them play primitive tech house or pop techno. Therefore, it is very difficult to find standing DJs. We were lucky that we met Amelie at one of the German festivals. And now she recorded a mix for us. We are extremely happy about it. In a word, it is a must.
