WEEK 4

"Bud" is the lead single off of Tiara Imani's upcoming project, Cycles. The songs explore the different phases a seed goes through, which similarly resemble the phases we go through in life. "Bud" represents a phase in which a seed and human being need a little extra time, attention, and care to cater to self before blooming and coming into their own light. While the lyrics can be taken literally, there is a deeper meaning available for listeners who know the importance of time for themselves.

Sage in this present time wishes he could tell Prince Hills (title of his younger self) that the finer things in life aren’t always materialistic.
