‘I am Pagan’ is a party song about not caring what other people think, the song is poetic
yet in keeping with industrial metal modes. PJ is a musician who, in her own words, is
genre-less (she takes from all genres) but ask her more and she will say Punk MC for the
Label matters. This new single, ‘I am Pagan’ explores her faith. She uses the raven and
phoenix to symbolize darkness and light through her music.

‘Green Milk’ is a song about living in care and different experiences, both good and bad.
The main reasons Jade has created this song is because in the arts you can see paintings
poems, blogs, etc. about care but not so clearly in music. She wanted to create a song to
express her personal experience musically. She notes particularly that it’s the little
things you notice when you are in care.

‘Nuke Dukem’ is about the idea of mass destruction resulting from a nuclear explosion.
It comes originally from the anime film ‘Bearfoot Glen’ where there was a nuclear bomb
released on the Hiroshima Mountain and two kids survive without their mother. This
song theme references the nuclear weapons that are stored near Glasgow which is only
a drive away for Jack. The theme of the song is clear within the music, citing mass
destruction by nuclear weapons and civic paranoia.
