IN THE GROUND is a energetic powerhouse metal act from Morell, Prince Edward Island consisting of guitarists Curtis and Colin Macdonald, Alex Myers on drums, bassist Ian Gill and Stephen MacAdam on vocals.

Assembling in November of 2008, over the years IN THE GROUND has not only grown as a musical group but has become one of the hardest working eastern Canadian bands on the go, playing as many spots around the east coast as possible.  IN THE GROUND is increasingly become a common name among metal heads all across the eastern provinces.

In October 2010, IN THE GROUND released The Assassination Demo and to date have independently distributed over 500+ copies over the short six months as a group. The band has also just finished tracking the next single, "Blunt Force Trauma" from their upcoming EP, which has yet to be named, which will be recorded with Travis Fitzgerald (ex DBTS) in Mississauga Ontario.
