In The Mix With Trent is a weekly, online radio series that was originally conceived and premiered in the summer of 2005 on Trent’s original blog. Initially, the podcast served as an interview-style show that featured interviews from prominent Black, gay, bloggers, and authors of the time. The series reached its peak in 2007, with over 5 thousand listeners honed in for a candid eavesdrop of an openly Black, gay man's life against the celebrity backdrop of Los Angeles, pre-social media, which was then, unheard of. 

The current iteration of the series airs every Wednesday, on Trents 24-Hour streaming channel and features the 80’s kid all grown up, tackling life as it comes in a digital world; where everything is cool and anything goes, except for being Smart, Black and GAY. In a jarring, raw, and sometimes brash expression, Trent is bringing his set of experiences built on tragedy and triumph to the forefront for a conversation that shakes the table. Whether it’s a celebrity encounter, a high-speed chase, micro-aggressions at work, shady friends, unsavory family members, or threesomes, Trent knows and brings it all under the guise of Matthew 18:20.
