On January 1st, 2020, at 12:30am, I penned Olivia, humming the melody into voice memos from the passenger seat of a car headed home from New Years festivities.

In the song I ask “is this a dream or a nightmare?” While this year certainly has seemed to point in the direction of nightmare, I am beginning to work through and heal some traumas I never thought I’d be able to.

This song has been part of my way to do that - to look back on the events of the past year and the events of the song with a new perspective and clarity I am so grateful to have.

This song has been my healing, I hope it can be yours.
